I hope we get some tinpotter so we can get through. really want us to have a decent run this year and finally get to play a top Prem side, Man City would be a good game I rekon, two of the best passing sides in the country facing off. Would be a lot of goals.
I’m sure you’re not allowed to play yourself!

I remember in our non league days we drew away at Salisbury City in the first round and the winners of our replay got drawn away at Sheffield United, we were all planning a great away day there and I was really looking forward to it.
Would anybody like to guess what happened next? :ffs:
A few years ago we drew Notts County away in the Third Round. It was a really cold winter, they only covered half of the pitch with frost covers and unsurprisingly the bit they hadn't covered was like an ice rink on the day the game should have been played. We ended up playing them on a Tuesday evening a matter of days before the Fourth Round was due to take place, by which time the opponents for the winner were known, a tasty fixture at home against Premier League Wigan Athletic. We had to print the tickets in advance, as there wouldn't have been enough time to organise them after the game had taken place. We were all set for the biggest game in the history of the club, at least it would have been back then, and of course we lost in Nottingham. I think the club sold off some of the tickets for souvenirs, a bit odd to have a ticket for a game that never happened.

The game at Notts is one that is tinged with sadness for Rovers fans as one of our number died in a motorbike accident on his way to catch the supporters coach from our ground and another from a heart attack in the car park at Meadow Lane after the game. RIP gentlemen.

You’d lose as always
We’ve still got a better head to head record. Strip out the winky wanky cup defeats and it’s nowt sensational.

Mind you, sales of Kleenex Mansize tissues continue to attract huge sales in Oxford.

There are a few I’d like for selfish reasons (York to visit the girlfriend, Alfreton because of their ‘Fake Dons’ post, Burton because we’ve never played them in a competitive game). But honestly I’d be happy with most teams in the draw. Just not AFC or Charlton please.

Come again?

Winnable for us (in that it's against a side we've beaten in the league)

Dream tie for Northampton who will be queueing up outside Sixfields already hoping to bag one of the tickets for their visit to the home of football.

I'm in the car on the way down to set up camp already.

Crewe away is shit because it’s always boring and shit playing a team in the same league in the cup.

But, it’s not at Brunton Park so we at least have a chance of winning. And it’s on the Euston line so it’s piss easy to get to.

At least we are at home. Potential revenge for Blackpool beating us at Wembley.
Bit of a shambolic draw with Chappers twice getting the numbers wrong. And why did they highlight Lincoln as the only League Two side? Slightly obsessive

Barnsley away. We’ll probably lose but Oakwell is one of my favourite grounds in the league, it isn’t far and we usually travel well in the cup, so should be a good day.

Charlton at home which will probably be a defeat. Just hope the BBC don’t go shifting it to the Sunday for that goals show they do. Be nice to draw and get a trip down to the Valley.

Guiseley away is the sort of tie I wanted - two leagues below us so we have a chance of winning. Can’t complain really.

We’ll get knocked out now.
