Seems a lot of the lower Premier league clubs aren't that fussed about the Cup.

It seems to me that the big clubs don't care about the FA Cup any longer which is a shame. As a kid growing up, winning the FA Cup was the b all and end all. I remember the giant killings by Sunderland, Southampton and Ipswich. One of the greatest football days of my life was my own team winning it in 1988.

Sadly, the bigger clubs seem to see it as an irrelevance so they field substandard teams. Oh well, it means that the likes of Newport, Oldham and Barnet get a much needed payday in the next round.

Good seeing Camacho and Jones in the lineup, they were very impressive in preseason. Fabinho at CB I see too - interesting.

This will not be easy; but so be it, we continue to get PL opposition in every opening round of the domestic cups these days, whilst the rest get lower league dross. Lets hope for a cracking game with no draw!

Been used too deep though. Him and Hoever have been the only highlights for Liverpool. The rest garbage. Big changes second half if they want to avoid elimination.

I'm not allowing myself to be too upset, why should I be when its evident the club cant be arsed even negotiating the competition. Tonight was a painful reminder of just how ordinary we were in the past,it was like a torturous rewind through our years of sufferance with clearly sub standard players. The only few bright spots in a gloomy old night were Fabinho and 16 yr old Hoever's obvious class,who looks and carries the ball like a young Van Dijk.

One day in the not too distant future we will be rid of the dark days of Mignolet being beaten by speculative 30 yard shots and Moreno being ripped to shreds on the flanks,one day when our triumvirate are rested we will have players champing at the bit to make their quality known rather than front men who couldn't give a flying fuck how useless and tired they look.

Congratulations Wolves ,its comforting to know that the FA cup still ranks as a trophy worth winning and the opportunity for fans to tip up at a final ,hopefully they can go on to lift it as the football they have played has merited any success that may come their way.

Just to add ,I think we have all had our fill of watching Moreno flying through the air to make an interception that would be infinitely simpler if the clueless blurt stayed on his feet.

I think its just a cruel twist of fate that we bought a mouse who thinks he's a defender ,because if he just liked cheese and hiding in holes I think I could live with that !
