In terms of Hanley have to admit am very ignorant on this but is there a huge difference in quality between steps 2 and 5 or is it relatively closer?

It’s a strange setup there. Clearly they are bankrolled and brought in a load ex Stoke and Vale players. Not really sure what the potential would be for them though as there’s already two established EFL clubs in the city. Be interesting if they did make the first round and played us though I suppose.

Popped over to Greenwich Avenue for Basford 0-1 Banbury United.
Pretty abject game for the neutral it has to be said. Neither side really did enough to win it really but a defensive error in the 89th allowed Banbury to snatch it.
