Winnable tie and Cleethorpes is good for a piss up, but can’t justify staying the night or the expense to get up there.

Bracknell away. Should be a fun trip that after every year us getting boring ties against teams in the same league as us.

South Shields away. Huge banana skin, but cracking away day.
Yet another away fixture in FA Cup and yet another possible/probable loss to lower league opposition.
Seems the FA Cup gods don't like FGR.
Chairman Dale Vince must be tearing his hair out: - he desperately wants a decent FA Cup run but has not had one since taking over the club five (or so) managers ago.

Seriously? You're away to a club three divisions lower, and you can have a weekend in Newcastle. Stop moaning

Even worse, four divisions lower!!

It’s the tie where I reckon the main ‘giant killing’ is going to come from tbh.

Away at Hendon or Chippenham for us, the former are lower ranked and also play on a 4G pitch by the looks of it.

Replays are tonight I think.

Newcastle- yes but it is small consolation to be 2nd favourites to win against lowly opposition as South Shields.
However Tyneside is a football hotbed and the crowd could be better than at TNL.

York City at home for us.

Slight disappointed that we missed Hereford away by one ball, would have been great to see the A49 derby back! However, at home to a non league team I can’t really complain as you’d expect us to go through. Would say it’s a shame it’s not away but now they’ve moved from Bootham it wouldn’t interest me. Could’ve been better could’ve been worse.

Potentially Wrexham vs Chester if they both win their replays tomorrow evening. That’ll be a shoe in for the tv cameras if that happens.
Though Plod normally insists on that particular derby being an early kick-off

Nice draw that, although fraught with danger. A trip down memory lane to Edgar Street. Good to see the Hereford phoenix club slowly rising again. Their much-travelled striker Miles Storey spent some time on loan with us back in 14/15 so he should be well up for it.

I’ve been to a few Wrexham vs Chester games down the years as we don’t get to face either anymore since they both disappeared into the abyss that is non league. Always plenty of trouble on and off the pitch! The Old Bill would have it 3am KO on a Sunday morning if they could.

Problem solved thanks for Oldham.
Which then creates another problem for Wrexham as there will be trouble at this game as well..

Now a 3 sided ground with a reduced away capacity. The terrace behind the goal was condemned years ago.
Can’t see you getting many tickets.
All around the ground it’s been developed, hotels, shopping centres and supermarkets but the ground is stuck in a time warp. Would be prime land for a developer if they could find a site to move to.

We have needham market at home.
Which reeks of “and there is a story developing at the Pirelli, let’s cross there now to hear about a goal scored by the away team”

First time in ages I have had to google a team to find out where on earth it is
Yeah it’s not too far from us, it’s on the way to Ipswich. I went for a job there once.

Got a horrible feeling I will never forget where this place is after the game. Like port vale fans probably will always remember chasetown.
Mate come on! I’d just forgotten (and thawed out) from that!

That Chasetown one was a particularly shameful moment as we failed to score from open play across 180 minutes against them when we were I think 7 leagues above them. Could also add on Canvey Island which was a bad one too.

Rogers missing two penalties in 5 minutes or so was bad as well. Even worse we decided it was a good idea to sign two of their players to try and keep us in league one!

Canvey was a stinker because we led 4-2 in injury time before blowing it and losing the replay but that did at least seem to kick start the change that season which turned into a real success with the LDV and crazy run we went on.

We have all been there..it’s the magic of the cup. Just not magic when it’s your team on the receiving end…

Nope true. For every Chasetown, Enfield and Canvey Island agony we have Spurs, Everton and Southampton giant killings so rough with the smooth and all that. What makes the cup what it is I guess!

FGR's away match at South Shields reminded me of my regular trips to Wembley to watch FA Amateur Cup. There always seemed to be a Geordie team in Final and one of the last finals I watched was North Shields beating current league team Sutton United.
Bloody hell, those teams in North East have pedigree and will be pumped up entertaining last season's League 2 Champions.

Wasn't there a mass brawl outside the ground or something last time the 2 met?

Scandalous that Wrexham v Oldham is a TV pick.

Our game has been moved to 2pm on the Sunday. Still can’t get my head round Wrexham v Oldham being picked for tv but there you go. I’d rather watch Bolton v Barnsley.

In my experience Wrexham have a rivalry with everyone, including themselves.

I remember at an FGR vs Wrexham game a few years back that, when faced with a shortage of FGR fans to fight with, the Wrexham fans turned on each other for sport.
Some of their fans on that documentary are complete bell ends. My mate used to live there and said it was agro just going out for a drink in town. He used to taxi to Chester instead.
Must be an inferiority complex from been out the league so long and getting dicked at places like borehamwood.
