Coalville away would be ideal as could walk to it! Tricky though with players like Billy Kee still at prime age and Ashley Chambers.

Got Swindon or Walsall all over it for us though!

Hereford, Alvechurch or (if they can get past Fylde) Kiddy please.

No doubt we'll get Gillingham away - again!!

Quite fancy Chester if they can get past Oldham, was always a good away trip that. Failing that we owe Kings Lynn one for knocking us out a couple of seasons ago so will say them as well.

St Albans was fun last season, the magic of the cup etc. Hoping for less magic this year though.

We’ve got an incredible record for a League 1 club in the FA Cup in recent years. We’ve reached atleast the 3rd round for the last five years running (6 out the past 7), including drawing Manchester United, Liverpool (twice), Wolves, Southampton and West Ham in that time. Salop fans love this competition you may say!

Stratford was a good draw for us last year live on the tele, ideally another non league side for me. My preferences are Wrexham or Taunton away.

Without checking the records I suspect that FGR have the worst FA Cup record of all in this division and possibly the entire league.
Last season was typical example: FGR top of League 2 table and lose to National League South mid-table St Albans.

Ipswich, Derby and Portsmouth away to non league opponents so their ties will probably be on .

Derbys tie at either Torquay or Hampton & Richmond is nailed on you’d say for TV.

Exeter at home for us. Home draw I guess but probably not one to excite either us or them.

Someone really hates us. Yet another away draw at league one opposition.

Dullest draw we could have got but at home at least a chance to progress.

Great tie for my local side Coalville at Charlton though, some good players there including Billy Kee

Dion - suck on that -Dublin got his revenge on us.
Thou shalt not talk about the great man like that! ;-) That’s not a terrible draw, you should beat whoever you play at the moment!

Curzon Ashton away for us, decent draw.

nah, we got the privilege of the Saddlers.

I imagine both clubs are equally enthralled as the other by this non-mouthwatering prospect.

Slight disappointed that we missed Hereford away by one ball, would have been great to see the A49 derby back! However, at home to a non league team I can’t really complain as you’d expect us to go through. Would say it’s a shame it’s not away but now they’ve moved from Bootham it wouldn’t interest me. Could’ve been better could’ve been worse.

Potentially Wrexham vs Chester if they both win their replays tomorrow evening. That’ll be a shoe in for the tv cameras if that happens.

Chance for Askey to return to a former club at least. Wouldn’t have minded us coming up against him again as last we saw of him was during the Covid season.

Think the weekend of these ties Stoke are at home to Birmingham so there’s a fair to middling chance our game is moved to the Friday or Sunday.

Sunday we’ve got the fireworks on haven’t we? They usually let us play same time as the lard these days and Exeter won’t bring many for this.

Not sure if they do or not. Depends on the type of fixture both are in. Stoke v Birmingham is going to require quite a police presence certainly compared to if they were playing Reading or someone like that and they’ll probably be coming up on the same trains as well. I’d be surprised if they didn’t move it.

True! The Shop and Nathan Thomas from our Wembley season under Hurst will be playing as well. Lenny will get a big reception, he’s a cult hero to us

Yep they’ll all be on. I don’t know how many live games there’ll be but I can see Bolton v Barnsley being selected too.

Guess so. Be a bit crap as we play Wycombe on the Tuesday (could of waited to see if we both got knocked out and played it round 2 day) although I’d hope we’d give Exeter a far bigger challenge than we did in the league game with available strikers and not throwing kids in like that forgettable afternoon!

Given the clubs left (Us, Barrow, Mansfield and Alvechurch), I think it's fair to say we got the best result we could out of it.

Or you can swap it to our ground if you can't host it.
We are at Argyle on the Monday before so Friday wouldn't be ideal
