Fucking livid at that. I've remained calm all through this winless run and haven't once called for him to go. Last night was a step too far for me. He needs to fuck off now. If he had a brain, we'd be looking forward to a very favourable passage into the Fourth Round, back to back wins and clean sheets and heading into the Wigan game on Saturday full of confidence. Now, we've had to endure a further half an hour extra time plus a penalty shoot out, a demoralised squad and confidence all but gone. Lose on Saturday and we're heading into the Middlesbrough game in awful shape, mentally speaking. Cheers, Andy.

Norwich playing a strong team apparently, and at home they should win.
We have Wilson out injured which normally means a defeat. We have recalled James Connolly who is another CB but we stupidly let him get cup tied so he cant play either.

Taking over 1600 to Blackburn to watch a team with no recognised strikers and a youth team bench. Now that’s what I call support and blind optimism. Hope those that travel are rewarded with something to shout about.

Aye, looking forward to it. 20 mins away for me in the next county over helps, as does hearing they're also not likely to be taking it too seriously and have injury issues of their own. If nothing else, a nice away following and a new ground for many, and a nice distraction from the much more important batch of fixtures coming up.

Magic of the cup? Not sure, but blessed relief of the cup at £10 a pop? Yeah, sod it, that's enough me.

Dodgy penalty for Maidstone v Stevenage according to the BBC .

That will get Steve Evans going !

Im sure Evans will take it all his stride. Would love to be able to say it’d be any different if it was us instead but our players would have taken one look at their plastic pitch and thought ‘nah fuck that’.

But fair play to Maidstone. They’ve just achieved something most of us in L1 haven’t been able to do this season. If ever a club deserved a Man Utd or Arsenal type draw in the next round it’s them.

Yeah kind of feeling less bad of blowing the second round tie how we did now and avoiding that happening to us as we know it would!

If it’s home or away it’s irrelevant. They’d better be televised next round or people should boycott watching. If for no other reason than to see Crazy Cov just randomly roundhouse kicking Grealish or something like that.

Why would they when you could watch Crystal Palace V Everton and Spurs v Burnley!

Comical decisions as usual, if they don’t get a real plumb at home they’ll probably be overlooked again.

Ah well the first half was fun while it lasted, second half was as expected. Great support from our travelling fans.

Yeah, can't knock it. Good ground, decent folk, offered much more attacking threat than you'd expect in the circumstances, decent away following and more important matters to worry about from here on.

Scummy Szmodics was different class, but ah well. If any of our defenders could pass the ball to literally anyone in an Amber shirt it might not have been so comprehensive, but 9 times out of 10 a club from a higher division will simply outclass the one from below and that's how it ended up panning out.

Yes, should have been shown live. Far better than the all Premier League ties which have the excitement of a wet lettuce.

And even the 2 yesterday weren't that great.

One sided North East derby and a bland 1-0 win for Villa v Boro.

The potential replays don't look that attractive either.

Reckon if they get a Championship club Maidstone will be on.

Unless there’s some obvious draws today, think we might be on the box for Norwich. Not many “upset” potentials.

Mind you, BBC love to show an all prem tie no matter who it is. I wonder what the viewing numbers are for something like Luton Vs Bournemouth in the FA cup.

Hopefully Norwich don’t sack their manager in time for the replay!

Yeah I'd rather watch yours than Wolves v Brentford, which is probably what they will end up with. For scouting purposes mainly..

About 30 miles between them. Guess it’s the closest Wrexham will have to one with Chester in non-league.

Exactly right? I watch the FA cup for the upsets. If I want a Premier league game, I can turn on a thousand different sources.

Why force a game down our throat that both teams and fans care less about, than it’s rival league fixture?

As soon as the upsets are over, I usually don’t even pay attention to who’s in the cup tbh

Probably not now with 3 PL sides bring held at home .

Particularly West Ham.

Not that surprising that we go to replay with Bolton. Despite our success of late it’s rare, even in the championship that we are actually a favourite in a game with us often being underestimated at that level. Our game is also predicated somewhat on having less of the ball and winning things high in the press so being asked to have the ball and build is a bit like playing left handed for us. It’s part of the reason our cup performances are generally a bit underwhelming. We named a strong team but First half we clearly struggled with being asked to make the running and Bolton caused us a few problems without really creating anything clear cut.

Second half we had all the pressure, Krul spent a lot of the half waving at his family in the stands, but we only really created a couple of chances through Morris and Doughty and some shots from the edge of the area that flew over. Played reasonably well but final touch often lacking.

Few set pieces for Bolton toward the end but it always felt destined for a replay to me from about 70 onward. Replay was about the worse result possible for us as it now moves our game with Burnley forward to this Friday night rather than Monday

Credit to the Bolton fans who made more noise than all premier league away fans combined I think!

Yeah spoke too soon there. All those draws today will jump ahead of us. Only chance we have is that us and City won’t be at home on the same day - but chances are that they’ll move the city game anyway

We were by far the better team yet once again, just can’t score in a brothel. How Taylor Perry missed at the end I don’t know.

The scum can have that one, 15 years in non league will be forever engraved in their history, therefore always be a smaller club than us. Worst away fans I’ve seen when it’s been a sell out away end. Silence until they scored and even then they were shite.

Atleast the gobshites got a good hiding outside the pub. 1-0 to the EBF.

Yes Wrexham one of our main rivals, as already said, only about 30 miles away and its the England v Wales thing for 2 border towns. We have to cling on to any rivalry we can get as we're not particularly close to anyone. Walsall are historic rivals, some of the younger fans try to drum up a rivalry with Vale. Telford are the closest team but we never play them apart from our conference season when we played them 4 times, then the border thing with Chester and Hereford. Wolves are as close as anyone but again hardly ever play them and they have bigger fish to fry.

Our lack of cutting edge cost us today. Expected a bit more from Wrexham. Imagine they'll spend big in the summer should they get promoted.
