6pm Saturday? Well jealous.

We've got shafted shifted to the Sunday for the substantial international audience.

Whereas it’s obviously tongue in cheek, wigan at home at 6pm on a saturday is nothing to be jealous of.

I hope we do a Man Utd next season and abstain. Half of Mansfield and Wigan aren’t arsed about this game let alone the lovely people of Mozambique

Funny thing is the teams they will care about are on the BBC and ITV.

Same here. Can't see many tuning in to see us getting bummed by Ipswich

We allow ourselves to get royally fucked over in this country, The FA Cup is a microcosm of this but it's an example. The state of some of those FA Cup kick off times to try and please international viewers who only really give a fuck about Arsenal vs Man United anyway.

Not TIC at all; more time for people to do parent stuff during the day, more pub time for others... as long as it doesn't ruin travel for visiting fans then 6pm on a Saturday sounds great. Don't care if it's against Man Utd or Brackley.

I had people today saying "fuck Peterborough" for their game being moved to Thursday night, a microcosm of the problem in this country, we roll over and don't stand up for ourselves nor stand together when others get fucked over, it's why our ticket prices are so high and our kickoff times so terrible.

The FA Cup has been butchered beyond repair now. Sad state of affairs when our own traditions/country have been ruined to suit foreigners for a bit of cash, screwing over the 600 + strong teams that play every year for Man City players not to have an extra game to save embarrassment if they were in the 3rd round, but would be happy for another game in Saudi. Fuck off.

It lost all credibility for me when they started having the semi finals at Wembley rather than a neutral club ground.
Used to love the old days when they would show live feeds of the team coaches going to the stadium for the final.
I cant remember the last time I watched a final in recent years, when it used to be a family event

How about a rule that no all-PL ties are shown on TV? Screw the fact that people in Chicago or Mumbai only want to see United or Liverpool, let them see some proper sides

All TV money should just be split evenly between every team from the 1st round onwards. Zero issues then. Just enjoy drawing a big team for what it is, rather than thinking about the payday.

Suppose they can watch a whole load of games on an overseas channel hence games being moved around so much.

Just so happens the biggest tie of the round is on BBC and then rather predictably ITV have one .

It is in terms of interest. We may not like it but the biggest club in the country against the 3rd biggest is always going to take precedence.

Not sure how we go about Wigan Saturday, the owners and Clough want to take the FA Cuo very seriously, it’s already earned us a nice six figure sum but at the same time I’m not starting Gregory, our drop off when he gets injured is too severe to do so in my opinion.

I’d play our full side and go for it personally.

We get through it’s another £125k or so plus whatever comes from the next round, i’d be really gutted if he didn’t go for it, though of course i see your logic.

I would other than Gregory, or just give him the 45. Got good depth everywhere else it’s just them two upfront I’m worried about.

I agree with Gregory. Give him and Evans 45 together, ultimately really we don’t have anything else, rhys oates is just pointless from an injury perspective and Ben Waine is well, just pointless sadly.

Though if we got through another round we’d have the prize money and potential ticket money from a big tie which would help us purchase another attacking player - we’ve already a bit in the bank.

Obviously we are out the cup and thus got a nice break, but isn't it absolutely honking trying to read that fixture list for this weekend? Every game has been butchered for some bizarre reason or another. Stick the tv money up some orifice and let it be played on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm. Hell I'd even let them KO at 3:15 like the real olden times, stick to traditions.

Its really shit.

Can’t imagine there’s many people in the Democratic Republic Of Congo buzzing to watch Mansfield v Wigan on a Saturday evening.

There’s not many Mansfield fans who want to watch it in fairness

Obviously loads of bollocks. Great if you are a fan of any club that has had their game moved to cater for internationals, but I dont think anyone would give 2 shits outside of these 2 clubs.
