The game that might provide a bit of a shock is Chesham at Bristol rovers - Rovers home form this season is shocking reckon they'd prefer the game to be at Chesham, they might even be happy with a reply!

Chesham have won the last few and will be bringing down a good number too, so you're possibly right! Certainly won't be easy.

Dont understand all the Salford hatred on here.

Its refreshing to see a few local lads doing something productive with their millions and investing it in the local grassroots and giving something back to the community. And judging by the the fantastic pictures last night their absolutely loving it! Good luck to them! Besides they full deserved all they got last night as Notts County were shit.

Think I understand all the hatred towards FCUM far more.

Some locals that bought the club and despite opposition from the fans changed the kit colour which also happened to be their nickname, their badge and the entire playing and backroom staff. All of this while Gary Neville had the cheek to chastise Vincent Tan and call him "clueless about English football and what identity means to fans" when he changed Cardiff's kit and badge.

They then sold 50% to a singaporean millionaire, removing yet more security for the club and again, against the fans wishes.

That's before even getting on to the fact they're hugely bankrolled.

At home to Macclesfield today. No wins in three, no wins at Fratton Park for almost two months and no wins in the FA Cup for over five years.

Has to end at some point but Macc will rightly feel they have a chance.

We'll turn up thinking we can win as well. Expect us to get the ball down and play with a decent pace, we'lol not be there to make up the numbers I can assure you. Be good to see Gaz Evans again, gave everything for the club whilst he was with us.

I don't so much have a problem with the 5 of them taking control, they can then do as they like and I don't think they'll walk away any time soon. But won't I don't see the need for is the BBC sucking their ass and providing even more funding and exposure at a level where just an extra grand a week on the wage bill puts you head and shoulders above the vast majority of everyone else at that level.

Last night was just a cringe fest, though fair play to the Salford players they wanted it much more than Notts County.

Just seen a tweet about Worcester player Daniel Nti and his mother is travelling 5000 miles to see her son play. I doubt they'll be anybody travelling further for this weekends fixtures.

I was (from Trelew in Patagonia) but, thanks to the Lufthansa strike, I'm stuck in Frankfurt until this evening. Come on you U's. "Joe Dunne's Amber Army" will get its first airing in strange surroundings.

They've been turned into a mini-Man United really in terms of their identity.

Adding to that... they have players on £400p/w (that was last season in Evostik North), we were 'money bags' Bristol Rovers in the Conference last season and we had first-team regulars on £600p/w. Nearly all the players are on contracts, very rare at that level. Last night I made comparisons to Eastleigh, Crawley, Fleetwood et al. but actually they're worse for the reasons Shayman has said.

Would I rather Salford City came up the leagues or Darlo for example?

I must admit I was surprised they got a Singaporean millionaire involved. Thought that was a mistake. While changing the kit colours was a risk I think its turned out to be correct despite opposition from the supporters.

On what criteria can you say the decision has turned out to be correct? Baffling.

I think its is a nudge to the owners Manchester United roots. Its not caused a dip in attendances which have improved massively since they took over

Well yes Sherlock, that's why they changed it.

But you're right. None of those people would have turned up unless Salford had been playing in red.
