BT had to add in some fake crowd noise in the end to disguise the chants ringing out.

Lincoln City...one time respectable Football League club...where did it all go so spectacularly wrong?
Same as yourselves poor leadership from the top.
Yesterday was disappointing don't get me wrong but not the cup shock the beeb were making out, they are at the top end of the league below and far more to their players earn more than our players do and several players of theirs could easily play in league 1/2.
O well only footy, I mainly go for a catch up with my mates these days if we win, bonus!

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
So.... Have FCUM announced which charity they are donating the broadcast fee to?

It's 'not about the money' after all.

Made me laugh how BT apologised for the swearing after about 88 minutes, then made a botched attempt to block out the FCUM supporters slagging them off...but still showed various banners on display that were protesting about Monday night footy.

No definitely not we've had worse like Luke said Carshalton was worse and we've had other bad results when a league side.
I find it hard to believe you could ever have had a worse result than losing 4-0 at home to North Ferriby whilst you were in the Football League.

We were a league side BUT haven't been for a while now, think that's the problem people have the attitude that we ARE still a league club and should be beating these sides. The sooner people realize what we are now the better.
North Ferriby was probably our worst home fa trophy defeat you're right yes.

Any time a club loses to carshalton, it automatically becomes one of, if not the worst, result in said clubs history

We lost 4-0 to them in the first round of the FA Cup in 1982. By all accounts a catastrophic day for us.

Boreham Wood are probably the single most poorly managed side in English football right now. It's almost an achievement to be getting so many poor results with that squad.

Have they spent quite a bit then - only just gone up the National league so a struggle must have always been likely?

Just look at their squad, certainly not cheaply put together like Welling's or Braintree's.

I've heard it mentioned that this isn't the "real" Northwich and that there's at least one other version knocking around somewhere in non-league, can anyone explain what exactly happened? They were always a bit of a basket case when they were in the Conference with us and I know they had some pretty serious issues with their stadium that led to them being kicked out, but that's as far as my knowledge goes.

They built a new stadium, got kicked out, moved 40 miles away and were demoted from countless leagues as their financial problems were almost never-ending. Their fans got pissed off and set up their own club, 1874 Northwich. The original club are now back playing at Witton Albion's ground but their attendances are still pathetic with most of their fans over at the new club.

We did ok tonight at Bradford, but didnt take our chances at 0-0. We matched a side 7th in league one for 140+ minutes but in the end I think their quality got them over the line - the first goal Alexander got caught too narrow and the penalty killed us off. Oliver had by far his best game in a Shots shirt and it is a credit to him that he won pretty much everything against Hanson.

Dan Walker is starting to frustrate me though - he works hard but the amount of poor passes and mis kicks in the final third is starting to cost us in key positions.

I also noticed that Richard Brodie is still an utter cock! :bg:

Brodie for the first half an hour was excellent and was causing Bradford problems, but then he went into world against him mode and started arguing with anyone who was near him - after that he lost his way and stopped being a problem for Bradford's centre backs.

He must have had a serious talking to after Saturday then, especially after he seemed he stormed down the tunnel after being subbed.

There is a player in there somewhere but I'm afraid he's his own worst enemy the majority of the time.

Thing is, off the pitch he is the nicest bloke imaginable. I've got to know him quite well, if only he could contribute as much on the pitch as he does off it!
