He's an absolute Rolls Royce, one of the best cm's we've had since we've been down here. So much energy for a 34 Yr old and the added experience has been vital as he plays along a younger cm
Glad to hear it, you could never fault his effort while here.

Town fans again showing their matchless class in defeat at Kidderminster today, flares and other stuff thrown onto the pitch towards the end. Those responsible DESERVED what happened today. :ds:
Feel exactly the same. As far as those small minority are concerned then i'm glad they are going home disappointed. For the same reason they were given the linesman dogs abuse for not flagging offisde for 2nd (despite being 3/4 yards onside).
Must be said though that shortly after the initial tannoy warning about pyrotechnics prior to KO. One was set off only a few yards away from two stewards who proceeded to do sweet FA about it. Maybe Kiddy have the same 'stop the bottle tops' hi-vis monkeys that we do.

Very odd that. Must've been easily another 100 seats that were empty in the West Stand?

We had a limited amount due to Covid. Not sure how it works as there wasn't distancing in the North stand or most seating :dk:

Chesterfield have definitely got that random unstoppable momentum thing about them where they get through and draw Man Utd away.

Nearly right. Although financially I seem to remember Chelsea is weirdly not as good as as you’d hope, from when we could’ve had them and blew the replay a couple of years ago.

Thank god we’ve avoided Salford against one of the big boys.

As a neutral it’s a shame to see ties like Chelsea vs Chesterfield and Spurs vs Morecambe drawn out, would be so much better as spectacles with the lower league side at home. Good for the £££ though.

Only the best teams get to go to Chelsea away in the cup:

disagree with that jacob, good for the coffers as you say, but get a result of any sort, like we did at Chelsea in 2009 and you have a memory no-one can take away from you.

They don't need the money.

Rowe will be doing his best Cowley at Arsenal impression on that day, great opportunity to get himself into the public eye. Changing room will be spotless after the game.

Not a bad draw!

They'll be shitting it at the thought of coming up against Stefan Payne.

Oh as a fan of the club involved I want it away every time. But ties like that generally make shit viewing on TV. I don’t think the Ches one will get on looking at the other ties, but they’ll probably put Liverpool vs Shrewsbury on which will likely be awful.

Whereas that game at Chesterfield is probably still going to be a hammering, but just has that small possibility of being a great watch.

We are going to get bummed at the Bridge but the cash should make up for it. A quick cry in the shower with a bleeding anus a la Leaving Las Vegas and we can pull ourselves together and spend the cash.

Incidentally "Bummed at the Bridge" is the name of my Urban Jazz ensemble's latest album.

50% of the gate receipts coming our way which if it’s a sell out, looking at between £600k / £700k depending on ticket prices

If we get stuck on TV then we really are laughing ££ !!

Really looking forward to that one, never been to Stamford Bridge either so that’s an added bonus!

Initial thought to the draw was meh but home against a struggling Championship side you never know we could shock them. Maybe on TV as well as it has got the makings of an upset.

Bournemouth at home for us. Could have been worse, could have been better. Not aure it'll be on telly which is what we desperately need and we have no chance of winning.

I heard Mansfield v Middlesbrough is being sponsored by Cash Converters and Public Health England's Spice Anonymous group.

I think it is 45% after the home teams expenses. Not to be sniffed at, but it is not 50%.

I just came on here to ask if anyone has any idea how much a fixture like this earns, that's amazing. 100% booking this off work and getting down there

Wonder if Chelsea do the ‘right thing’ and let little non league Chesterfield keep 100% of the gate receipts and all of the TV money?:dk:

Haha no seriously though, didn’t Spurs do something like that last year? I’m sure I read that they did. I don’t expect them too but would be a nice touch ofcourse ;)

Great draw for Chesterfield. Let's hope Tshimanga has a a stromer and somebody triggers that release clause afterwards
Not the worst of draws for Yeovil or Kiddy

Yeah, there’s a 10% cut for the FA and then the remaining 90% is split after expenses I think.

Depends how the tickets get priced but I’d guess they’re looking at maybe £250k/£300k from ticket sales. Worth having.
