All nailed on for me - then a toss up between - Chelsea v Chesterfield (how nice is that btw?!), Millwall v Palace, Yeovil v Bournemouth, Westham v Leeds and Liverpool v Shrewsbury i'd guess.

How many do they televise? 5 or 6? I think we've got half a chance as much as i'd love it to be Sat 3pm.

We’ll definitely be on the box. Champions of Europe vs top of non league.

£750k gate receipts, £70k TV money, £100k extra from any sponsors wanting to hop on board the hype train, £50k from extra memorabilia to remember the special day, £5k from transport revenue and £10m from Peterborough for Kabongo Tshimanga after he ends Thiago Silva's career.
Plus a government grant for putting Chesterfield on the map.

Selfishly I want it to be on TV to keep some of the bandwagon lot away. We will shift the allocation easy for this and it’d be a shame for non season ticket holder regulars (ahem me) to miss out.

You're more confident than me that we'll be on Tele. I just don't think the TV companies will see that as an interesting tie

We also took a good hammering at Stamford Bridge 14 years ago, 6-1. We did equalise at least though. But then had Tommy Lee (one for Chesterfield fans there) sent off and had no sub keeper. Shevchenko still couldnt score past our centre half in net. Mourinho played a really strong team that day and then took all the Macc squad into home dressing room afterwards and the Chelsea squad then paid for an evening out for the Macc lads too. And gave us the gate receipts.

Chelsea: Hilario, Geremi, Ferreira, Carvalho, Ashley Cole (Woods 79), Wright-Phillips, Lampard (Morais 71), Mikel, Bridge, Kalou (Sahar 76), Shevchenko.
Subs Not Used: Kalambay, Sinclair.

Booked: Mikel, Shevchenko, Ashley Cole.

Goals: Lampard 16, 41, 51 pen, Wright-Phillips 68, Mikel 82, Carvalho 86.

Macclesfield: Lee, Regan, Morley, Swailes, McIntyre, Heath (Miles 59), Navarro, Hadfield (Tolley 73), Bullock, Murphy, McNeil (Jennings 52).
Subs Not Used: Tipton, Reid.

Sent Off: Lee (48).

Booked: Navarro.

Goals: Murphy 40.

I don't think we'll be on tv, there are too many other games ahead of us IMHO

Fuck me. Even smug would say James Rowe's face would have been OTT when Chesterfield's ball came out.

Sometimes it just goes for you, definitley seems to be going their way this season. Hard to see them not taking that momentum, motivation and money from that tie to the end of the season.

I would say 80-85% of managers would see Chesterfield home and hosed as Champions from this position. Rowe will hope he's not in that 15-20% minority. Few sleepless nights but he's done a great job there so you'd expect him to see it through.

Give over. Only just top of the league, half the squad injured and not played anyone with a pulse yet

If he comes out of the next few unscathed, it would be surely home and dry. I rate Rowe but if he fucks it, he'll become a meme overnight. Chesterfield don't win it we all know it will be "doing a James Rowe" for years to come whenever a team has one hand on the trophy and lets it slip.

Spot on we’ve been flat truck bullies so far. Once we play, Grimsby, Notts and Halifax we will have settled back down to a natural position.

You can add us to the list of clubs you play that don't have a pulse. Fixtures being very kind to you again

If you'll excuse my back-of-a-fag-packet-maths, if it's fifteen grand a go I reckon you could do 50 layers

Joking aside I'd be pleased for any side at this level to get a big ticket away fixture in the FA Cup. It'll probably pay for our new supporters bar and go some way to funding a new training ground.

The new bar is a capitalised project already funded, be mental to use cup money on it.

There's me thinking 'doing a James Rowe' was getting a B Team top of the league.

FWIW I think we are best judged come 1st Jan as to where we are in the mix. I still think Wrexham, Stockport and Notts will be in the mix too.
