I'd rather see Salford knocked out by another non league side than give them more exposure.

Northwich Vics would be a good one for this, pretty local and I'm not sure how Salford would cope with being actual favourites.

Peterborough United (A) - ouch. John Still's former club who gave Mark Tyler his professional debut.

Away to Sheffield United if we get through, would be a brilliant game if we managed it.

Though having to go to Oldham and Jen Sheffield United sounds tough

In fact, I've just realised it's in London. Fuck sake. Possibly on TV?

We've got the wife beater's Donny Rovers. Uninspiring draw aside from the manager. A likely loss. Ho hum.

Happy with Welling away.

It's by no means easy as they are conference so probably full time, but realistically I expect us to be in round 3.

Hartlepool will knock Salford out.

The only team talk Moore needs to do is show them a video of Notts County's inept, gutless performance and that should be enough.

Port Vale or Maidenhead. I'll take it.

Come on Maidenhead!

Miwwwaww away. Hideous draw. Unless for some reason they don't turn up, think that's us gone.

Back when he was still playing for us, Ainsworth left their current left back with a fractured cheekbone and eye socket one time as well, so I can't imagine said left-back will be "not turning up".

Just glad we didn't get another bloody southern side away. We've enough of them in the league.

Only issue at Welling is their midget pitch. They deliberately have it as narrow as possible to deny the opposition space

funnily enough we do that too. A bit weird coming from a manager who was a winger in his playing career.

pretty pointless you posting in this thread.

Kenny, you useless fecks better win or you can join him above.

As for us, Doncaster at home, it's winnable providing we get a decent manager in, if not I'll be joining you two.

Portsmouth away for us - already driven down there once this season no doubt I'll end up doing it again.
Would have been more than happy to play them at home but there you go

Salford v Hartlepool almost guaranteed to be televised, though not many other standout games so think we could be one of them. And if not, we'll probably be chosen for that Sunday afternoon highlights show.

Yep, not the best tie. Can't argue with yet another home draw (I make that 7 in a row now) but this is tough. That said we did beat Fleetwood last year so we do have a chance but I suspect Donny will be too good for us unless the new manager has a profound effect.

The bonus is it gives us the opportunity to give "Stella" Ferguson a bit of stick.
