So Luton have lost their two front line centre halves for this match. I fancied us with them both in the team, with neither it’s a real struggle imo.

We're going to get mullered at home to Bradford. Two suspended (pending appeal on one), 5 loanees who could leave and a couple of long-term injuries leave us very short of options.

Well i'm gobsmacked. Omar's red card appeal has failed despite the fact the Crawley player ran into him. Struggling for players for Saturday now.

By my reckoning if our loanees go back to their parent clubs this week we have 12 outfield players available for this Saturday.

Sold 1,000 for Cardiff.

Not bad for an international fixture

Confirmed by our manager we have 12 players available for Saturday's game of which 2 are goalies. Luckily the rest make up a 442 formation so no-one will play out of position.

The red card bans 1 game or 3?

We've just signed a Barnsley midfielder on loan for the rest of the season. Phew, got some back up!

The 3rd round FA Cup tie this Saturday aginst Reading will be the final match where our North stand will be open.
Next week the stand will be demolished and redevelopment of that end of the ground will begin.

Of course IF we win on Sat and get a decent home draw the club will probaby change their minds.......

Looking forward to our game tomorrow against Sheff Wed... we've put in some good performances in cups, even following shite league performances, so hopefully will be a good match, and hopefully like the Gillingham game, we will play well and then take that form into the league for a couple games at least to keep up our plan to spend the entire season just 'a couple of wins' from getting in the playoffs.

We've signed four players in the last day so we've nearly got a full bench for tomorrow.

Good luck to all League 2 sides this afternoon, especially our conquerors Newport. I count 9 of our league in the 3rd round today.

If Middlesbrough vs Sunderland isn't being televised, why is this an early KO?

Scott Kashket is back for his first game of the season, :woo:He scored 16 gals in 18 games last season before a hip injury. I'm not expecting him to start in the same form as he's had so long out so Ainsworth made the correct decision to have him on the bench but i'd love to see him 100% fit again partnering The Beast up front as they scored loads of goals before injury kept him out for most of 2017.

Mixed feelings on Cov winning so far. Am never disappointed when Stoke are losing and always happy to back a fellow league 2 team against someone from another league but this could end up getting Hughes fired. That would be unfortunate.

Goarn Cov! It’s about time Stoke fans round here were brought down a peg or two.

Even if Hughes is sacked keeping them up is going to be a difficult job for anybody with a squad that isn’t good enough.

How did Stockley miss that one? :ffs: Ben Foster literally gave it to him on a platter.

Great to see Coventry beating Stoke, but the shock of the day so far has got to be Newcastle 3 up against Man City.

ps - oh, and if Villa could see out the job and finish off the pish that'd be wonderful.

2-1 Cov now. Jack Grimmer with the goal, nice to see an ex Vale player getting it right up them.

Not that I don't want County to beat Brentford, but if they go through then our game on the 28th of this month will be played on a midweek, and that's a bummer.

Well done Cov, brightened up this afternoon :bg:

Please don't sack Hughes Stoke. He has work to finish...
