Missing Flint’s contributions. Webster is a better defender, Flint a better player imo. His 10 goals per season were so valuable.

Can't agree that Flint is an overall better player, Webster is a better defender and better with the ball at his feet, only thing Flint is better at is his scoring contributions but its not the main thing you look for in a centre back. Webster plays a big part in how we try and play from the back which Flint didn't help with, by no means terrible but Webster is a different class.

Thank fuck Sullivan & the Golds never got what they wanted and moved us to the NEC all those years ago if that London Stadium is what we would have become.

Impersonal, soulless, utterly utterly bland matchday experience. Everything Upton Park wasn’t. I used to love a trip to West Ham, and as I’ve previously mentioned I’ve got the scars to show it, one of the truly edgy away days all the way up to recent times, today I was more scared of getting in the way of somebodies selfie or saying a naughty word that offended somebody.

“You’re not West Ham anymore” we sang, I sang it with a slightly heavy heart, another great English away day consigned to the history books.

Not sour grapes, just musings of a [slightly] drunken football supporter feeling nostalgic. We played well but they took their chances, no arguments with the result.

Don’t like comparing the players.

They’re both very good defenders, we’ve been lucky in that respect. You do get the feeling that Webster will go onto big things though, he just has that aura about him.

Disappointing not to win our tie yesterday but in perspective Luton haven't lost in 19 games and a top end League One side is more than a tough enough test for a mid table Championship one, we edged the chances but both teams looked tired after the festive period.
