Yeah, even though it's hardly an upset. Good L2 team at home beats Championship reserves. The odds on Newport weren't even good.

Don't care about the cup but sadly just shows our reserves are not capable of challenging our first team which is poor going into the second half of the season.

I don’t think Berardi, Cooper, Phillips, Saiz & Lasogga are considered ‘reserve’ players, are they?

Cooper and Saiz played for very little time. Lasogga has been out of the side for ages.

Not saying they shouldn't have done better but yes, it was a completely changed side. I'd say most Championship sides making 10 changes would struggle to run away with an away win at a decent lower league side.

Just not sure it really contributes to Leeds 'falling apart again'. Blimey if we're falling apart in the play offs then we're in halcyon days [emoji38]

Disappointed to be out. A cup run would have been a welcome distraction from the league right now.

We've been over it before but personally I can't understand why any football fan would be glad to be out of the FA cup regardless of league position. Maybe it's an unfortunate consequence of the money orientated state of modern football.

I agree. There's been a lot of discussion online about the "magic of the cup" going. We pulled in 28,000 last Tuesday for a home game against Brentford, but only 22,000 for the FA Cup match against PL opposition Saturday afternoon.

I love the Cup and I'm always disappointed when we go out. And it always is "when".

Mehhh I'm not sure really. I get it but I think six is plenty. Not nice but I don't think it's comparable to racism, biting etc. and much worse than leg breakers.

Just stupid, horrible and has a huge impact on our season. He's an emotional player which is no excuse but we do get benefits from that attitude at other times too.

What did he do? Watching a stream on my laptop I just saw Saiz doing some kick ups on the half way line, some Newport player ran to the ref holding his shirt and then he was sent off. People have mentioned spitting or something with blood?
