We have a rearranged game next Tuesday so who knows...

A full meltdown taking place right now online.

In fairness you don't go from "no need for a pitch inspection" to frozen pitch in such a short space of time. There must have been a significant chunk of standing water overnight and throughout the day ergo we should probably have checked the pitch at some point this morning or throughout the day. If we aren't already looking at Meadow Park as a contingency plan then we probably should be.

I have no idea how the ref didn't notice until immediately before kick off though.

Right, well it’s been quite for a while that we have an issue with our pitch and fault for this lies purely with TK. The pitch will continue to cause issues though so there’s very little need in people getting more and more irate about it. TK just needs to be pressured into action.

Next steps do need to be taken and fast. I’m not sure what is feasible (and not heard of what avenues we are looking at) but it’s quite clear something needs to change.

I’m very honest about TK and like to think I’m fair, but this issue will absolutely ruin the remaining relationship with the fans unless he acts very soon.

But again, we won’t have a club in 5 years so wha worth worrying over?

Maidenhead 1-3 Halesowen

Awful result with a best available XI. Defeat at home to Eastleigh on Saturday could see some very real pressure on Devonshire's job for the first time.

I hope Luodmouth went - that would be an interesting vlog...

Couldn’t care less really - he causes more issues at the club than any other supporter (bar a certain white-haired prick that all BFC fans will know)

Nothing to see here just another postponed game. Called off a few mins before K/O!

A frozen goalmouth isn’t really our fault tbh. Feel very sorry for the travelling fans.
Surely a frozen goalmouth should be picked up sooner than a few minutes before kick off

Would you actually have the guts to tell that person that he is a prick to his face.

When he acts like one and impacts the enjoyment of the game for those around him then yes I have done in the past. He’s an embarrassment to himself and other fans with his behaviour and abuse to officials and players alike.

My comment seems to have stung you a little bit (pun not intended). You don’t need to be so touchy.

Your comments haven't stung me, I was only asking a question. For what it's worth I totally agree with everything you have said. Many a time my enjoyment has been ruined by his actions and I am surprised with some of the things said(like threatening to have TK shot) the club hasn't had the balls to enforce some sort of a ban. Maybe also several other Fans may even return.

Saw 30 seconds of his video about the Barrow game - instantly formed a severe dislike of him. And then he responded to every bit of criticism on our forum about it.
I've seen that he sells merch with his logo on it...

333!
We were clearly the better side for most of the match but Farsley were pretty spirited after we went 1-0 up and could have equalised.

The club tweeted 223 :dk:

333 is much more respectable.

Yeah, they then tweeted the corrected attendance! I thought the earlier figure was odd as more than 233 tickets had been sold for this fixture.

8 matches this weekend;-

Averley v Chelmsford
Barnet v Barrow
Concord v Leamington
Dorking v Fylde
Ebbsfleet v Royston
Halifax v Halesowen
Harrogate v Eastleigh
Yeovil v Notts County.

As we have no idea what teams most NL clubs will play it's hard to do write ups, but i'm expecting the following 6 teams to go through;-
Chelmsford, Concord, Dorking, Ebbsfleet, Halifax and Harrogate,
together with the winners of Barnet v Barrow and Yeovil v Notts County

Can't see us troubling Yeovil, we will likely be playing a few youth players as we have 6-7 squad players injured at the moment.
This is Doyles 2nd match of the 3 match ban as well.
I expect Bird, Osbourne, Dennis, Shields and the new keeper to play, anybody is anyones guess.

i think we’ll be playing a strong team, it might not be our strongest XI but thé replacements will be the likes of Elito and Mason-Clarke rather than youth team players.

At a guess i's say we'll rest Quigley, Rooney and Hird and probably start with Byron Harrison - just to wind your fans up if he scores....

Doubt we’ll play any youth players, no game on the Tuesday either side so no one desperately needs a rest. Bird is cup tied as well - played in this when he was on loan at Boston.

I imagine it’ll be:

McDonnell
Kelly-Evans
Rawlinson
Lacey
McCrory (sounds like he’s fit again)
Osborne
Crawford
O’Brien
Shields
Dennis
Thomas

Which is a capable enough team, Enzio and Wootton on the bench if needed.

Do league suspensions count in the Trophy then? That’s useful if so

I think it'll be the normal XI but with Brown, Dyson and Hindle/Harrison starting. Possibly Granite if he's fit.

I don't doubt we're in it to win it though - two games from Wembley, we might as well give it a shot.

We seem to be taking it quite seriously, although i expect we'll give some the other squad members a chance to stake a claim for the first team for the league match on the followIng Saturday, :ds:

Yup - Doyle is suspended, so only misses this and Woking next week now. Bird and Roberts are cup tied, Slocombe, Bakayogo, Turner and Booty all injured.

Our manager has said he's treating the trophy seriously but I can't see us not resting key players given we've a crucial league game at Harrogate on Tuesday.

Don’t think so. We’ve got Jeff King suspended for another game in the league yet he’s available for selection this game.

I would seriously fancy our chances if you don't start with Rooney and Quigley.

League match sending off's suspensions count in the trophy - but if your suspension is for so many yellow cards that doesn't count in the Trophy.

I wouldn't write off Royston at a struggling Ebbsfleet side - the former have already knocked out 3 sides from further up the pyramid.

Doyle has been sent off twice for straight reds and he picked up 2 bookables in the match against Daggers. He would have got a single match ban but as he had already got 2 reds his ban was extended to 3 games in all competitions.
