Woeful footballer. Never seen a more technically inept midfielder. Charges around and throws himself into tackles and fans seem to love it. He breaks down so many attacks with poor passes. Shouts abuse at everyone else for his mistake. Passes sideways constantly. Can't wait for the summer when he's gone

i have to say I totally disagree with your assessment!
Furthermore we have had plenty of midfielders over the years who were far more technically inept.

Fair enough. Game of opinions.

I'm not his biggest fan, and it would be hard to justify keeping him if we went up, but he's absolutely fine as a holding midfielder at this level. Not a starter with us when everyone is fit, but he walks into the starting XI of the bottom half teams in this league.

Aveley at home should be a comfortable draw for us, although Belper from the same level (I think?) gave us a game in the FA Cup.

Think we’ve got to be taking this seriously now and looking for a first ever trip to the new Wembley.

Certainly can’t complain about our draw. We just need to be professional in our approach.

Barnet v Halesowen must be in huge doubt already with yet more rain on our saturated pitch :bang:

We should run a sweepstake on when the game gets called off. I’m going for 12pm tomorrow.

If that actually goes ahead there'll be no chance at all the game next Tuesday will be on...

Our's "should" be ok. Lots of heavy rain tomorrow and then hail mixed with rain on Saturday morning. However the pitch "was" fine up until today with all the rain we have had.

It would be a shame for Aveley if it is postponed as I doubt they would be able to bring all that wanted to come midweek.

We actually owe Notts a favour today.

With our game off due to having about 4 months of rain in a day, we needed someone to bet on.

As it was Notts were evens to beat a mystery side called aveley that no-one had ever heard of by 2 or more goals. They went on to beat the mystery side 5-0. So cheers for the pennies lads!

Dire from us today. Halesowen wanted it far more and completely bossed us in extra time.

I assume if the Field Mill match was playable today you were betting on Swindon to win?

Where’s the monsoon when you need it?

Disastrous and hugely embarrassing result. Good luck to Halesowen but what an opportunity missed.

Very straightforward 5-0 win for us including a goal for new boy Scott Wilson in front of nearly 5,000, Halesowen in the semi please!

Halesowen would be good attendance wise, would Harrogate bring any fans ? Have they got any ?

The best draw Barrow could have hoped for and I bet the one Harrogate really didn't want...

I feel sick. What a missed opportunity to get to Wembley for the first time in 50+ years.

Oh well, at least it means a lower level team gets to the final.
Not the draw either club would have wanted but that's what it is.
