It won't be as bizarre as the reason the taxi driver I had yesterday took up taxi-ing.

"How long you been doing taxi for mate?"
"About three years, I was a plumber before that"
"Ahh, how come you quit plumbing, didn't enjoy it?"
"I got my legs shot off"
"Sorry mate?"
"My legs got shot off, can't do plumbing with these anymore, got titanium in em though"
