Comeback of the day. I'm already tilted from a few loses I've just taken. I would stop but I need to finish to go out...

I was close, very close to my first rage quit. Even paused the game to do it, but instead I had a drink of water, swore a lot and continued.

9.56 Higuain latches on to Dybala's through ball. 2-1
43.58, Dybala and Higuain combine again. 2-2
77th min, Martial into Higuain, he's 1v1, he doesn't miss 3-2 against a God squad. Instant rage quit. Brilliant.

8 games went to extra time. Lost 7 of them. Basically threw my last two games as when I hit Gold 1 I started experimenting with shit. Could have done with another day to play the last 10 or so games in peace.

Relentless if you have any coins, buy MOTM Ramos. Fuck me. I've said before how much I love Ramos but TOTY Pique trumped him... Well, the last WL I wasn't happy with my defence, so I was torn between bringing Pique back off chem or MOTM Ramos in off chem. (Also means I can run with IF Montoya, who is my favourite full back)

My two problems with IF Manolas were his passing and his M/H work rates. Ramos with H/M is obviously much more pro active in closing down which works for me, but on the ball, dear God. His passing is the best of any player I've ever used, his long passing is insane, press the long pass button and it's perfect over any length. His dribbling, fuck me, I got the ball in defence and wanted to see what he could do - the answer is go past five players then play a perfect assist for Higuain. He's unreal, I'm throwing it out there, he's just trumped TIF Mertens as the best card I've used this FIFA. He's better on the ball than Vial and Nainggolan, it's like having a third DM.

Edit: He just got his first goal for me, sent him on a one two up the pitch and he finishes superbly.

1.3M on PS4. Bit pricey for me. Will have about 2.3M if I sell my Mane and Dembele and I don't like having most of the money in my team being on one player


I did get SBC Suarez though. Cost me about 300k as I had a fair few high rated Barcelona and Real Madrid untradeables so wasn't too bad. Basically a 94 version (his 94 SIF is 1.6million) for cheaper than his regular card

I've resisted SBC Suarez, did the SBC for Lacazette and regretted it. He does some unbelievable value though but tbh, when I see my opponent has him I don't worry anywhere near as much as other players (OTW Mane, Weah, Ronaldo, SBC Kane etc)

Edit: Well, I just gave Lacazette less than three halfs as a sub, four goals and three assists from the bench... I'm only in D2 but still.

Trying to get my CAMs right now, I really like Gomez, Dybala and Mertens, but I don't like them together as a unit where they don't have enough physicality so one has to drop down to the bench, I can't decide between Dybala and Gomez. Would love Perisic but I think for chem reasons I'm likely to bring in Stoichkov. Problem is I can't afford him.

Draxler (awesome CAM) and Iniesta at CM is a... brave choice.

I was leaning towards Perisic but that requires Suker at CAM and the few games I've just played with him there his movement is exceptional but his passing is really kinda a big let down, he's only getting like 80% completion where my central CAM needs pretty much a 90%+ as the attack/ tempo basically revolves around him.

I'm happy with Dybala on the left despite his work rates, but there's really a conundrum of who to play. Nobody I like fits without going off chem and I don't fancy three of my eleven to be off chem unless it's an amazing player (e.g. MOTM Ramos and SIF Nainggolan). Loved Hagi at wide CAM but again, his physicality was an issue and it's going back to three fairly lightweight CAMs where a team running something like Pogba, Kante and Gueye/Vieira just dominates them physically - plus against any team I'm not winning headers from goal kicks, whilst I'm happy to play from the back a different option would be nice.

I made that second team I posted with the Neymar-SBC Suarez-Mane front 3. I really like it. I see what you mean Look Out There Are Llamas that Ramos is basically a god.


Made a fitness team so I can play the odd game with it so I'm not using fitness cards every other game. Tested it out. First game against some dude with SIF Alexis Sanchez, Messi and some IF (not sure which version) of Hazard up top in a 433 4. Made him rage quit in 60 minutes when I went 5-0 up and he messaged me calling me a fucking gremlin c*** for calling my team fitness when it's "obviously" my real team.

I forgot how good SBC Alli actually is at CAM when he's been just ok when I've used him at CM lately. He got a hattrick and was always in a great position. I mean it's a decent team with a couple expensive players. But yeah. Clearly the cheaper fitness team when compared to my full team

7 wins 3 losses so far in the WL. Should've won 2 of them. Lost one on penalties when the c*** parked the bus for the entire second half onwards. Other one I just made so many stupid mistakes in defence. I just got totally outclassed in the 3rd loss though.

SBC Suarez is well worth getting. Oh 16 goals and 5 assists so far for me in 12 which is pretty pretty prettayyyy good when he's sharing the goals with OTW Mane and Neymar

I just took my biggest ever FIFA beating tonight. It wasn't a massive score line, only 4-1, but fuck me, every thing I tried was intercepted and shut down, I couldn't string two passes. His 28 shots to my 2, man... I'm slightly intoxicated but still, dating back to FIFA 10 I've not been dominated like that.

It didn't even piss me off, sometimes you just gotta hold your hands up. Quick fag and I'll jump back in and beat somebody else.

The loss I just had... Hit the woodwork twice, missed a penalty that he saved, and he scored from that counter. He also had boosts on POTM Kane, OTW Jesus and OTW Mane. c***. Also played ultra defensive/ PTB all game -_- Even didn't have space for long shots.

If you're getting done on the counter a lot, try and pick when you're properly attacking - when I say that I mean be aware of where your midfield and defenders are. If I've committed too much forward I'll slow the tempo down until I've regained shape. Also, what's your custom tactics?

After 60 minutes I was without any real chances, I wasn't being convincingly outplayed, but I was definitely second best. I make a brave sub, bring on Hernandez for Higuain. I up my pressure to 70. Minutes later Hernandez is through on goal, but he fucks up. Then, Hernandez has the ball, he sees Del Piero make the run, pass, goal, 1-1.

Full time and surprisingly my first game to enter extra time. After last weeks ET hoodoo I'm a bit cautious. I also make a controversial sub, taking Del Piero off for Lacazette. Five mins later Lacazette puts me 2-1 up. I hold out through extra time and he didn't have a chance of note. Fucking boom.

His team was ridiculous. That is TOTY Suarez also. He played 4-2-3-1 as well for the most, changing to that at half time of ET.

It depends on how you set it up. I've been using two fast box to box CMs who can defend, a CF who's generally a striker but not that fast and with good dribbling stats and the actual ST being someone with a bit of pace and I've had no problems getting goals.

First game in the WL and I'm using my "fun" team. Come up against a guy who has Ronaldo, IF Benzema, Bale up top. IF Kroos, Modric and TIF Isco in midfield, IF Marcelo, IF Godin, Sergio Ramos and upgraded Carvajal at the back with De Gea in goal.


I won 4-0 with supersub SIF Josef Martinez (seriously pick him up. He's like 15k or something and is a supersub striker that will just destroy defences when you bring him on) picking up a hattrick after I brought him on 70 minutes.

Yesterday I played a similar but even better team (IF Neymar, ST Ronaldo and TOTGS Messi) up top and other fantastic players like Vidal, Boateng and Ramos) and won 2-0 against that.

The 4411 really works and apparently my "fun" squad can do it against fantastic teams.

It's a midget team too Herrera being 6 foot is my tallest outfield player. Everyone else is shorter
