I'm going to completely disagree with everything Relentless has said. For me h/m is fine with a m/m, the best defence I've had with coins is Ramos and Boateng, cheaper I've enjoyed Miranda and Koulibaly. Currently my new team (back to 4-2-3-1) is rolling with Boateng and POTY Pique so we'll see how that goes. Mind you, I like my cbs to be pretty aggressive - which only works on co-op cam, there's my fun fact.

JJH those wide CAMs are horrible however...Gundogan out, Firmino in. Fajr and Turan out, Ben Yedder in and someone else, not sure. The wide CAMs are essentially slightly narrower wingers and need to have good pace, passing and dribbling.`

I've absolutely bled coins recently, made an ultimate team (ha) with Ronaldo and Messi involved. For the coins they cost I honestly prefer Suker/ OTW Higuain to Ronaldo and Messi isn't a patch on TIF Mertens. So everyone is sold and I rebuild again with players that should be better as a team. The only new player I've kept that I've experimented with this week is OTW Mane who is a game changer from the bench.

Defensively it was okay, but offensively it just wasn't working for me, especially against guys who I knew are dreadful and I should be putting 6 or 7 past. I think because I know how good they are I try and strangle the play through them. Building a new team around Kevin De Bruyne, who, ironically is the cheapest player I will have...

With the team I've just binned off I've gone 4-2, which is kind of a disappointing start but I couldn't complain about either loss. One game I won on pens after a 0-0 with a combined 4 shots on target throughout... (3v1)

I keep brain farting in remembering to qualify. I instinctively go online divs whenever I do pick up the controller - as if no other game modes exist.

Anyways, getting much more comfortable with my squad/system. Not as fussed when I come up against the super teams now as I feel I can play the game in the style I find fun.

Any tips are very welcome ladsz.

Love the way team #1 knocks it about. Both are super on the counter. I can probably make a better 'first team', but prefer having two that are more balanced.

Spent my last 5k in Eric Dier's for 700coins each 10mins before player of the month was announced. Just sold them all on for 4.8K BIN each
Had 2 random bronze Millwall players from doing the BPM that sold for 6k each too

Played my first WL game with my new look squad, crazy better. Won 2-0 before a 55th min rage quit, only shot I allowed was a frustration twat by Dybala from the half way line.

What division you in sl1k slank?

Stuck in 3 atm. I usually play about 2-3 games at a time. Huge gap between my good and bad performances tho, struggle for consistency. Like if I'm in a bad mood, I can't help but impulsively get high pressing and attacking direct - even though I sort of know it's not the ideal approach to a particular game.

I'll also play great/dominate but lose/draw to shit fifa players. Still bad at finishing.

At least I'm enjoying playing again though. Been a while.

Done my 13 WL games for the day. 8-5, on course for Gold 1 as it stands but I've really lost games I should have won. My problem is when I go a goal down I lose my head. Conceded first five times, lost five times... Including a twatting by a Musa side and a squad builder Giovinco/ Smolov side (in fairness the SBC bloke was actually really fucking good)

Pass accuracy (86 v 90) and possession (57 v 60) are down compared to this stage last week and I've lost an extra game. Can store all your stats on Futwiz btw, can be quite interesting. At least I'm consistent in conceding 1.08 goals per game...

13-7 at the half way stage. Played another game last night when I got in and had Montoya sent off and lost... If it wasn't for that and my early cheap losses I'd be having a really good week

Also I found a super sub better than Mane. I liked Draxler whenever I've used him... but his 86 IF from the bench... Fuck me.

Double edit: See eSporterADO is in the top 100 currently. Googled him last week when I beat him and nothing came up. Googled him again and I see he's the official FIFA player of ADO Den Haag Guy was so average I didn't actually think he would be, JJH sl1k give me better games than he did...

If anyone's using a 4321 I highly recommend SIF Arnautovic for that LF spot. Isn't that expensive (I got him the other day for 52k. He'll probably be cheaper on xbone) and he's in 28 games,, 20 goals and 13 assists in the WL.
He's really tall, great dribbler, can score from anywhere and if you stick a hawk card on him he's at 89 pace with 96 strength.


I mean you could get his TIF for a bit more money but I haven't used that as OTW Mane is taking that spot. Mane's on 29 goals and 19 assists in 41. Around 10 of those were sub appearances though. Gone to just one team as I was winning with this team and losing with my other team. So I'm currently with

CBs: BARZAGLI CHIELLINI
CMs: HENDERSON IF GUEYE SBC ALLI

I really wish that upgraded Henderson was available for the Prem weekend. By far my favourite Prem CM. Buffon is a brave choice...

My Elo is now too high I think, went on a run of 7 consecutive wins, just played a bloke who's getting Elite 1 every week (and is on Futwiz to prove it), lost 1-0 and it's not that he attacked better than me... but his defending was phenomenal, never had an open pass and my 4 shots on goal were all desperation long shots with absolutely no space. He wasn't even on park the bus or ultra defensive.

On 16-9 now, I'll be mighty sad if I choke on Gold 1. Need to go 9-6 for my last games which is very doable providing I don't get matched v him again!

SBC Buffon's been really solid and made a lot of really surprising saves in all honesty. Shits all over De Gea who I tried recently and let in so many weak low shots.

I really like my current team, nowhere near the levels of those posted above, but it generally plays well. I really like Tremoulinas as a LB, but it's been too difficult to fit him in to my main team, as a three league hybrid, so want to go back to 2.

The upgraded Danny Rose with shadow chemistry has been fantastic for me and the only better LB in the Prem imo is IF Marcos Alonso who's stupidly expensive now.

Fuck me. I played FUT when it first started and, unless my memory betrays me, I got straight into Div 1. Now after a few years off I'm trying it out again and I'm fucking useless.

Game has totally passed me by. As have all these acronyms you keep using. WTF is going on in have no idea.

My team is a bunch of Brazilian rejects and I'm on a solid zero points in Division 7.

Thank fuck it's extended for a day. I'm already done today. Played a game, his first goal Boateng does that interception animation thing perfectly knocking the ball into his path for a goal. His third goal was a pass that passed to the wrong person that he intercepted. His fourth goal my batteries died. I don't win in extra time. It's annoying me so much. Especially this game where he had four shots on target.

Edit: Scrap everything I just said. Beat "Hung Like TJ" the 38th rank for February. Game finished 0-0 after extra time, he was the better player and I was defending for my life for most if it. but Vidal's cheeky penalty down the middle won it for me.
