Very few bargains for the prem but seemingly Serie A has some decent cards relatively cheap

Not convinced it's all about pace this year, more about how you use it. Kolorov has been brilliant for me

Money? I just traded and got lucky in my starter packs. Sold a Milner for 4.4K, Nani for 7.6K. Plus I spent less than 7K on my team.

Failing to score was with my previous teams, haven't used this one yet as I've just made it.

Had a bit of success with the formation last year, just have to make sure your midfielders get forward. Bobadila is super strong so should be able to hold up perfectly now that that's good and have the two wingers and Arnold overlap him.

Portugese or Turkish leagues is always a good starter side for me.

Never really experimented with formations in 15 or 16, I'll probably just go standard 433.

opened the starter packs etc got Kaka and Villa could go for an OAP line-up
And a shed load of La liga players so think thats where i'll start

Highly recommend Cedric, you can pick him up for less than 1k.

Regard leagues I started with Turkey but after some trading amassed a prem team costing about 30k. Still using my Turkey team though as its actually quite fun

Using 41212 atm. Find playing a DM at the start is a good buffer. I also use 433 and 352 quite often to provide stability and be hard to beat when using cheaper players

Only just realised that you can buy from the catalogue a 1000 coins boost per UT game (lasting 10 games each).. My coins problem will shortly be fixed.

Hopefully I can do my standard of building a cheap, value for money Serie A team. I always used to find it a good league to start properly in.

Are server crashes regionalised, I mean UK regionalised? I went on yesterday (XBX1) to play pro clubs and it was lagging like fuck. I didn't know if it was my internet connection (ethernet cabled) or their servers. Other people in my team kept getting kicked off. I went on later and the server was down, it still is. EA release one of their flagship games and the servers go down,

They have issues every year. Last year I couldn't play FUT for the first few weeks because the server wouldn't let a shitload of people on.

This is most unwelcome news JJ. I forgot to mention earlier, if anyone's got FIFA 17 on Xbox 1, plays FUT and would like all my FUT shit gifted to them I'd be happy to do so. I've never played it. When the servers are back up of course.

Has anyone played the journey yet? Ordinarily I wouldn't bother with sort of game, but it's not bad.

My second side that I rotate every game with the Bundesliga team I posted above. Because eff starting every second game at 91 fitness.
Wasn't too sure about it on the first match but then next game scored 3 headers from the ST and the CF all from the right winger putting some lovely crosses in
Witsel seems afraid of the ball and just hangs back despite the fact his instructions are to get into the box and his CM partner Garcia is bombing forward despite him being told to stay back. Not sure what's going on there.


Bundesliga side feels pretty damn good, only complaint about it I have is the LB is only soso which is to be expected and that Embolo doesn't seem to be very good at crossing

Never played FUT, always just play the offline stuff, but they've ruined it this year. I've played on World Class mode for the last 10 or so Fifas, and this year it's just become ridiculous. Just get muscled off the ball all the time, if I tackle one of their players, their tackled player immediately muscles me off the ball and wins it back. Can't score for love nor money because I can't get anywhere near their end of the field, it's impossible to string any number of passes together (which are all much slower for human players than the AI, who can ping them around the pitch no problem) When I'm attacking, all XI of their men drop behind the ball, so there is absolutely no space. When I'm attacking, no one moves forward (I have changed all the sliders so they should run forward at every opportunity, but they don't.)

Any players on the human team are so slow to do anything, and completely the opposite for the AI side.

As it is, games stay 0-0 till my players all tire around the 70th minute from chasing the ball the whole time, then the opposition win 3-0 with some late goals because none of my team can run.

Surely the EA guys play test the engine before they release it? It really seems like they don't most of the time. Think this is probably the last FIFA I'll buy.

Had really high hopes for this version because the reviews were so good, I have absolutely no idea why. The game is slower, more complicated, and the AI is just stupidly unrealistic.
