So, been playing the new FIFA now for a couple of days. Defending is easier to handle now and they've tightened that up, first touch is a bit more realistic, keepers seem to be better. On the downside, playing the CPU is too easy. I usually played World Class or occasionally legendary on 18 and it usually gave me a decent game. Been playing World Class in squad battles on 19 and it's a piece of piss really. Too easy to control the game and restrict their chances. Still haven't got the hang of the new shooting system (any tips?), crosses seem to be my main source of chances in this edition. Another thing I don't like is that there seems to be less SBCs than in 18, where have all the Europe, Asia, Africa etc SBCs gone? Will they be added later? There's also less leagues to do which is a pity as I love a good SBC

Turn the timed finishing bar on and practice getting your timing down vs the AI. It's broken imo, far too easy to score with timed finishes, especially with finesse shots. The vast majority of goals scored are from finesse shots with timed finishing from the edge of the box.

Patch today. Didn't feel particularly different in the 2 games I played.

Also I did enjoy the 424 but then when I was on the app it glitched out and deleted my squads. Tried to recreate the tactics and couldn't get it playing well again

Now using a 433 4. Just the two games today but won both games. The second of which was against a guy who had all legends or expensive special cards. 90 Ronaldo, Prime Desailly and Blanc, POTM Aubamayang and the like. Beat him 3-¹ and the goal he did score was the sweatiest tramp c*** goal I've ever seen

Just added none other than Prime Icon Messi... He may drop more, he may not, but I’m happy with the price, about 10% drop from where he was a few weeks back. He’s in for Papu Gomez. I will be replacing Nacho for definite this week as well. Can’t decide between UCL Nacho, IF Godin or Ramos.

I’ve made an absolute killing selling into the hype though. Doubled pretty much all this weekends/ last nights investments. They’ll probably rise more, but, take profit and move on.

I’m going to see what cheap Bundesliga IFs are about, then pick up a few, then bin them Friday morning.

Flipped a load of Gabriel's for the new SBC until I got market banned earlier, buying at 1800 and lower and selling for 2600. Also invested in some IF Almeida's at 13k or lower and a couple of CL Kompany's. Thinking about selling my squad off tomorrow if prices rise enough and playing WL with a 30k Ligue Un/La Liga hybrid in preparation for the market crash next week.

Wasn't paying attention when I did it, had a lecture on my laptop and was absent mindlessly listing. Had 3 as the number in my head to remember for 839k, went and put 339k. Didn't realise I'd fucked up until Messi sold and I saw my coin total was 500k less than I expected.

You can only buy so many players in a short space of time before they temporarily ban you from the market. It's to stop bots from buying up thousands of cards.

Got Depay and Gignac from my picks, Depay being the first pick I've gotten that I'll actually use. Might even spam crosses at Gignac if I'm struggling against a better player. Took untradeables from Division Rivals, only cards of interest were Lewa and Keylor Navas.

Thinking what to do with my cards in the run up to Black Friday. I've only had the game 5 days so have around 130 cards, mix of special, gold, silver, bronze. Sell them (or keep them) and make some money to do flash SBCs on the day or buy some decent players at knock down prices? Sort of caught in a halfway house between making coins and hording cards to bash out SBCs on the cheap or sell when value is higher.

Experimenting with a 523 formation, works a treat against the AI, not great if you play a possession based game (which I usually do) but plenty of pace and power on the counter. I'm not playing online much as my squads aren't strong enough yet, trying to hit daily/weekly objectives and get to elite rank in squad battles to get some nice packs/coins. Think that formation might do well online. Want to make a Chinese League team with it, some great options to fit that formation but the defenders in that league are shite.

Hybrid it up. Chinese league attack and midfield, defence of players from the nation's of the midfielders they link with.

None are particularly great but they're all cheap starter teams that should he pretty fun. All hybrids too to avoid the terrible Chinese defences.

One of the futswap cards is in squad battles and there's only a few hours left to get silver to qualify for it. Not hundred percent but you should probably get enough points from doing your 4 games and the featured opponent.

Seems like over half of the swap players are gotten from playing online only, frustrating.
