[Stats gleaned from Lady Magpie's official Matchday reports]

Unlike you with your immature offensive bullying posts I supply stats > see above
It is abundantly obvious that Mansfield's away support is twice that of FGR.
You might not like that fact but it is true.
Now I suggest that you back off you imbecilic weirdo.
Do one you sad Cretin. You have proved nothing, for one thing how can you read across those averages, surely Mansfield are located in a more central location than FGR, hence closer to more clubs? It’s not “apples with apples”.

It’s not bullying, as I am reacting to a sad act like you that stalks my posts. It’s always you, notice the connection.

Now fuck off and go back into your sad hole.

But I'm sure you good fans at Forest Green Rovers couldn't give 2 shits! Well done again on winning the league, superb achievement.

Where is old Devon Lad by the way?

Must be off celebrating the league Title.
Oh wait.....
Claims to be in Vegas but if he's got a job that can fund such a trip I feel sorry for his employer....he'll be quiet as he's made himself look a right mug.

I think from his post match comments regarding squad building it is clear that he is staying, and rightly so.

As for the game, I thought it was a professional performance by us and we deserved to win. Murphy made a couple of decent saves in the first twenty minutes, but Orient ran out of ideas in the second half. We put several decent moves together after half time which should have resulted in goals to make the winning margin more comfortable.

It was pretty much our first choice eleven which played yesterday, and it is a decent side at this level. We just need to add a bit more strength in depth for next season, although losing Kieron Morris would be a blow.

We actually got more points this season than last year, when we finished seventh, or 2018-19 when we were actually promoted.
Not doubting we have a good side for this level - this team would turn over most sides we put out in league one during the last few years of Peter Johnson's tenure. The mentality of being so negative, especially away from home, certainly needs addressing though. Having said that, we did alright for only having three players contracted at the start of the season and no proven strikers.

I'm surprised with Tranmere. We played them early in the season and they looked a decent team, if not lacking a bit up top. When we played them in February, we were fortunate to get a last minute equaliser and again I thought they looked like they had enough for the playoffs minimum.

Seemed to have dropped off a cliff since then. What's happened?

IIRC they also had the easiest fixture list for last 8/10 games too

From the outside in just doesnt look like they score enough goals, maybe a case of not replacing Vaughan?

The Guardian reckon we’re gonna make a formal complaint to the EFL about Scunthorpe’s team selection. Think we should just move on, it’s happened.
Get focused on the playoffs.

Nothing is going come from it so I tend to agree.

Not really sure what the EFL could do about it in any case as Scunny are now no longer a part of it. Think it's best just to move on from it personally as frustrating as I can imagine it would be for Northampton. Have seen various conspiracies such as believe there is some promotion clause they got from selling Ryan Loft to them but it's pretty much the same lineup they've named the last few games.

Completely agree. What are they going to do, take a goal away? It wasnt ideal but there is not going to be any change and we should have beaten Scunthorpe away earlier in the season!

Cant imagine Brady will put much stock in it though, its just a case of trying to boost morale for the playoffs now.

It's probably not the best time to tell you that Oldham had a legit goal that crossed the line against us, and wasn't given...

Plenty of people thought it was possible that Rovers smack Scunny 7-0 if required as Scunthorpe's situation and selections and Rovers form, I wasn't shocked by the score line in the slightest.

Incredible effort mind. It's not one you look at and think "its a fix" is it.

Our away form has been poor all season, but has been awful since Christmas. The loss of key players like Glatzel, Spearing and Morris at vital times hit us hard, and our starting eleven is quite inexperienced and did not deal well with the pressure of playing away from home.

We have actually scored a reasonable number of goals at Prenton Park since January, and Hemmings and Nevitt looks a decent partnership for next season.

I see some fans complain about their 17 year old keeper making his 2nd league appearance but he stopped it from being 10-0+

The EFL will not touch our team selection situation because they would then have to investigate themselves for their role in our current plight.

The EFL are complicit in why we had to field that team, would be very interesting if they tried to investigate it.

We had a goal against someone not given that was definitely over the line also. But it happens. I do believe that over the season it mostly evens itself out.

Enjoy league 1, hopefully we will be seeing you there.

Cheers, anything can happen in the play offs as Wycombe are proving again!

Sounds like The Guardian have blown it out of proportion. Our chairman has said we haven’t made a complaint, they recognise nothing will change, and that all they’ve done is query the rules regarding team selection with the EFL.

Fuck the MSM IMO.

The Guardian have made it pretty clear though;

"EFL guidance states that from the fourth Thursday in March, any team sheet for a league game should include at least 10 outfield players who featured on the team sheet for the previous league game. Scunthorpe adhered to such instruction"

Funny thing is in the 2013/14 season we were only in the bottom 2 until the last day. Northampton were one of the teams going into the last day below us. Also Scunthorpe got promoted that season as well.

We love leaving it late whether its going up or down (apart from last season obviously!!)
10 mins we spent in the top 3 this season, what a time to do it!
