Scunthorpe fans are saying Robins will be sacked if they get beaten well on Saturday. 3 clubs looking for managers 7 games in.

On the footballing side of things, Evans would be a very good appointment.

That's my issue. I know he'd do well for the club but fuck me I can't stand the guy.

Plus, a him and Barry Fry double team. I couldn't cope.

Few ruled out tonight in a live Periscope with MacAnthony.

Ferguson, Redfearn, Holloway, Curle, Hasslebaink & Edinburgh all ruled out.

4 on the shortlist. 3 having telephone interviews tomorrow. All four expected to be at the Oldham game on Saturday (Ruling out employed... No Mr Evans).

Next week the four will be expected to fly out to America at their own cost to meet with MacAnthony 1 on 1.

Clough, Westley, Mackay & McCann are early thoughts now.

No offence, but of the 'ruled out' list, were any of them ever at all realistic?

Also seems a bit weird to have to fly yourself to America for a job interview....

What is your preference? If it was my choice, probably Clough

Ferguson is always realistic I guess. I think an approach for Edinburgh or Hasslebaink could have been made if we were keen.

If they want the job, they'll do it.

I'd probably take McKay out of that lot.

Brian McDermott appears to be one of the three who had a telephone interview. I'd be very happy with him.

Apparently Fatty Evans missed his press conference yesterday, fueling speculation that he is on his way to Posh.

Which could mean that Posh will be the most hated club in L1, and Rotherham can be called the 'Gills of the North' again?

Steven Pressley, lol.

Mcdermott will get it if he wants it as he is clearly streets ahead of the other 2 in quality and experience.

Westley ruled out!

McDermott, Pressley and Fowler are three.
Dom, I wouldn't wish Pressley on anyone. He talks a great game ,you'd think he's Gaurdiola, and no doubt you would start alright like with most managers , but give time he will make the team play the dullest mind bendingly boring football on gods earth.
Football will be Sideways then sideways then backwards then sideways back to goalie for a big punt upfield.
I can't remember how many games we had when there were no shots on or off target, most Cov fans rate him our second worst manager in our history. The run when we were at Northampton was mainly down to Wilson and the siege mentality of the team and nothing to do with him.
Also the most amazing post match interviews ever, he took positives forward after we lost at home to Worcester City in the FA Cup, and believe me we were outplayed by them. Every loss he would say " well we have positives going forward, but his comments were like he was at a different game to,the rest of us.

Your chairman sounds very keen on him, but in time you will grow to hate the bloke and the shit he spouts.

No matter how shit you play, Pressley will always tell you the work ethic and application was outstanding. He will tell you he dominated the game after you have no shots on target. How can you fix a problem with the team if the manager doesn't think there is a problem to begin with? I was closing to crashing my car a couple of times listening to his post match interviews.

His transfer dealing were among the worse I've known.

All shit and all came and left within a short period, a few of them may actually be half decent players but put them in the hand of Pressley and they turned to shit. Donelly signed and left the next day.

Terrible man management, fell out with Johnson who was our most influential. Froze Tudgay out about 7 games after signing him, Tudgay now proving his worth under a proper manager. Best one with Tudgay was Pressley saying he will leave and then the next day he started his first match for about 4 months. He froze players out and then had to back down and recall them. Terminated contracts (not expired, terminated a year early) of two of our better players in Adams and Baker and replaced them with crap. Created the bomb squad and made 8 players train separately to the rest of the team,

Tactics bizarre, he just copies whatever system is popular at the time and will change it all on whatever whim he is feeling that day. Players constantly out of position. He played Jordan Clarke at RB, LB, CB, wing back and yes bizarrely at striker for a game. His best mate Andy Webster was undroppable despite being shit. He came out with outrageous comments like Andy Webster played like an international player tonight (what nation is that Steven? San Marino?) Another classic was we have players at the club which are better than those playing in the premier league.

Yes he had a good 3 month period, with a team he inherited from the previous manager. None of the players that were performing well were his players, he had the best attacking quartet in the league in Moussa, Baker, Wilson and Clarke and he still couldn't get us defending properly as he put Jordan Clarke and Andy Webster at centre back.

He's not just shit, he's delusional as well.

Unfortunately they've found them. Webster at St Mirren and Billy Daniels in the conference north with Nuneaton
Pressley can use the transfer fee from Marcus Maddison to bring them in, should only cost a few million to sign players of there calibre
