It’s not clear as day. It’s impossible to say from that angle. Any other view other than inconclusive, you are a liar.

Not that it matters now but it's not clear as day at all. It's about as much of inconclusive touch as you're likely to come across. The Charlton defender gets in front Anderson and the pace of the ball would suggest it couldn't have moved at that speed off Anderson's right thigh, which was the only place it could have done if you freeze it (not my image and I'm not one for freeze frames, but still...). But there's no conclusive angle.

You can argue either way with it, and both sets of fans are calling it either way, which shows how inconclusive it is. Certainly not as clear cut as the Charlton Twitter feed made out from 70 yards away, as though it was Maradona handball proportions of a mistake.

They also called it 4 yards off side. It was half a yard at most.

It was offside.

No point going on about it anymore, you can either see it or you can't.

Certainly hard to tell which player gets the touch on the ball...if I had to make a decision; I'd say it was the Charlton player. Can't tell if it's offside from that angle.

Not in any way a clear cut one.

In fact that freeze frame further backs up that it was offside. Impossible for the ball to go across the goal off our bloke, the ball is behind his leg and off the foot of the attacker.

It was inconclusive. You sound like Mark Palios. Bitter, biased and unable to form rational opinions because of tribal loyalties.

Yeah bitter mate that's what it is, I've said on several occasions it wasn't the reason we lost and we deservedly didn't get anything from the game.

It doesn't mean the decision isn't a poor one.

Yes, very bitter. The angle is inconclusive, as every impartial observer I have seen has said.

Hmmm. If the officials deem it to have come off the Charlton defender, then it is a pass, and thus, not offside.

Certainly one that could have been given either way....unless you support Dale, in which case it would have gone against us every time....ever.

From the still pictures and the highlights I can’t tell who it came off. I’d be purely guessing.

I've seen a far worse offside decision, I was at our game against Huddersfield in 2004, now that was a bad decision.
