shame port vale on a tuesday, that’s our “local game” this season.

At least we don't have a Tinpot double header of a local game 150 mile away on Boxing Day and New Year any more.

Away fans probably won't be allowed as they don't trust us cavemen footy fans but if they were, getting Crawley at home first game is a bit disappointing for your return to the football league .

I wanted Rochdale . I've missed them.

Away at Salford first game again. Last time we had that we won the division. If we shithouse a late draw after getting battered all game be afraid. Be very afraid.

Looks like we’ll be picking up the league title at Prenton Park which should be fun

Mansfield on Boxing Day might be a bit tasty, often is when we play down there

Our first two EFL games are against teams we’ve played in the National League- FGR away and Salford City at home. Glamorous.

We’ll help slowly ease you into your new surroundings by playing a fellow tinpotter.

Both of our games at Field Mill and VP are midweek which is a bit unfortunate. Would have thought Scunny is not that far for you?

Does seem a challenging first month in general for us but more I look at this league I see it being very evenly matched for the most part.

First game Harrogate away. Never played them. First FL fixture there with fans in. Presumably limited capacity and all-ticket.

Whoop-ti-doo...
Not quite their first FL fixture with fans in there. They had a few hundred in when they played us last December. They might possibly have had one or at most two more games with crowds then too (we had two last December, and an earlier test one in September)

Glad to be at home for the first and last game and also boxing day.

New year’s day is away at rochdale and the last away game is salford which are both local anyway.

Though we’ve newport the first away games who’ll no doubt injure half our team
I won't be happy with injuring half your team! Its the whole fuckin lot or nothing.

Sunderland in the League Cup. At least it’s at home I suppose.

Boring that. A championship club would have been nice but played these twice in the past couple of season or so in cups already!

Aye it’s underwhelming. Stoke were number 32 and was excited for a second until realised it was 33 we’d got so that soon went away.

Guess we might as well book in Derby v Salford for TV.
