If away fans are allowed to attend then I'd say we will take 1000 to Northampton that's probably not a sell out but not many teams bring more than 200. I think we have won there on the last 2 occasions aswell.

Regarding drawing Sunderland in the league Cup it doesn't matter who we get in this competition we always get knocked out in the 1st round. At least playing Sunderland might make it a bigger attendance than we normally get for cup games.

that was amazing.

I remember going down to bristol rovers the season they went down, it mansfield’s first season back in the league and we all went as minions.

As it was a ridiculous set of results went against rovers (they had about 6,000 shots to our 1 and we won 1-0). for some reason they thought city fans were in our fans and ran on the pitch.

I remember the police force lamenting that every mansfield fan was running around in a big yellow outfit not at all making ourselves conspicuous.
