I agree its pathetic some people just expect home teams to just keep giving them unlimited amounts of tickets. Even your fans will of done it at some point when you once sold out somewhere
Chesterfield last season tbf. Difference with Vale is that they're asking for half their ground (which I know is only small but it's still half their fecking ground)

Not great fixture planning for us, Blackpool away on a Tuesday and away at Bradford boxing day and Millwall on bank holiday ! Not a bank holiday local derby in site ! Pretty much what in I expected to be honest but just happy to be in league 1.
A tough start for us at home to Scunny, I have been impressed with the transfer dealings they have done so far and expect them to do well. I am sure Burton based gaffer Mark Robbins will know all about us too.

Relegating Vale at Vale Park in April will be sweet.

No fans, but 6 points for us again.

Possibly the pressure will be off the Alex by then with Crewe already down....

Quite right. I don't have much/any faith in us staying up, but there is probably a good chance you will follow us.

Hard to say at this point in time, we are having a massive overhaul in players from last season so will be massively dependant on who we bring in.

Obviously I'm delighted with Crewe Alexandra away on the opening day. Missed the fixture last year due to it falling on the final day of my holiday in Gran Canaria. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It's good to be away on the opening day for once, even though it's only up the road. Locality, pride, the banter leading up to the game, before, during and after the game itself and the general feeling the game carries with it as opposed to a normal league fixture.

I've already written out my holiday forms to submit at work once I'm back in for the midweek trips to Swindon Town and Colchester United, in August and October, respectively. Southend United away falls on the weekend before my birthday, and as I'm booking 6 days off for that, then I'll be looking forward to that one. Blackpool away being on a Tuesday night is a little frustrating, but at least it's in the middle of April and it may actually mean something. Not to mention it being a new ground for me. Glad that none of the Crewe Alexandra, Burton Albion, Shrewsbury Town and Walsall fixtures aren't midweek, which is a positive. Looking forward to going to Millwall and Wigan Athletic (the only other new grounds for me) in consecutive away games in January.

Coventry City away on Boxing Day, followed by two home games, is a decent Christmas period for us, IMO, especially with another local game at Walsall being the week before as well. Not too many games I'm not happy with really. Gillingham at home in August, and away in April is a breath of fresh air. Finally we aren't playing them away during autumn/winter and the sun may actually be shining for once. Bury and Fleetwood Town away in September is decent enough. Chesterfield away in April must be a written rule in the Football League Handbook anyway.

It might be a problem for me, some years we have Good Friday off, sometimes we work it. This year we worked it so hopefully next year we get it off.

Cov away at Burton has been moved to a Sunday 2:30 on international weekend on Sky. No doubt this was done to go with the story 'Burton could have only dreamed about this fixture 15 years ago, what a turnaround it has been for them'.

It'll be a mixture of milking Burton's surge through the leagues, and the sad decline of CCFC, I'd imagine mate.

Yep. Tuesday March 26th 2016 at the Olympiastadion. Kick-off time not yet specified.

March 26th is a saturday for a start. Its not 100% confirmed however its highly likely it will be berlin. Which is a shame as i went there last time so was hoping for munich

Do I really need to answer that for you? Unless you're accusing them of making it up? Obviously a mistake on the day.

Iv just said its highly likely to be in berlin but its not 100% confirmed. Which it isn't

We play Burton on Good Friday, then I believe its the Burton Beer Festival so we'll spend the night there, before heading to Berlin on the Saturda.

Quite a journey it has been and achieved without a sugar daddy or over spending. Moving the game to a Sunday avo with a 2-30 kick off for Sky is a pain for me and maybe some travelling sky blues but I reckon the game could be not far off a sell out, mind 7,000 and the ground will be full ! Looking forward to it much more than our previous meeting in the "Piss pot" trophy !

What's the most tickets you can get at the Pirreli mate?

I think I am right in saying 1400 standing and 400 seating. That's behind the Derby road end and the nearest adjacent seats. Good views anywhere in the stadium, a bar under the stand too ! Local pubs for away fans are The Beech(10min walk up Derby road), The Great Northern and the Wetmore Whistle in Wetmore road about 5 and 10 min walks respectively.
