Out November 2nd.

Never really got into FM18 properly, albeit more than I did FM17, which was the worst I’ve played in the FM series.

I bought FM18 early doors, then sold it almost immediately. Series has really gone downhill of late.

FM16 was the last one I got really into.

Wish I hadn't deleted my saves and gone back to it.

I never delete my saves if I can keep the space free.

Got a great save from and old FM (think maybe 12?) with Watford. Lewandowski and Laurito with James Rodriguez just behind, insane team.

FM 18 is alright but the match interface is garbage, everything several thousand extra clicks away. I only play FM Touch as the full version tends to take over my life. Which is a bit sad considering I'm fucking 35 years old. Just picked it up again after 5 months off so won't be getting FM 19 for a good while, if ever. Anyone heard what the new features are?

I've been running with FM14 on the PC. I did get FM18 Touch when it was released for the Nintendo Switch but it's the slimmed down classic game mode.

Still on FM14, I bought FM17 and can't get on with it at all.

Might give this a shot but not a massive fan of the tactics and in-match stuff (yes I know it's part of being a manager)

Think I read the other week that information on new features will start to be released back end of September so can't be too far off now.

Didn't realise it was out yet. Probably won't get a chance over the next couple of weeks but will try it at some point.

2018 would have been the first one I haven't bought in over 10 years, felt like they'd gone downhill of late.

Not sure what I'm going to do yet. Tend to wait until a couple of weeks after the main release so that the first patch fixes some of the main bugs but it sounds like there are few about in this beta release.

Quite a few reviews out now.

It seems to be getting much higher praise than the previous two FM's, although one common theme is the training, whilst greatly improved, doesn't seem to offer an overview of all of the information on offer.

Never got 18 but still play 17. I've got a missus free weekend so might get 19 on Friday night if anyone thinks its worth it?

It's sounding more and more like it will be worth it, particularly if you're still on '17.

I bought it on Tuesday night and had a quick look around it (without hitting the continue button) and first the impressions are very good. Whether that translates to results and enjoyment of the game (which FM18 certainly wasn't) remains to me seen!

The discounted rate is until tomorrow (or tonight).

I stayed with FM14 up until the new one... I have FM18 Touch on the Nintendo Switch but thst did not prepare me for how muvh more detailed an already massively detailed game has become!

I'm enjoying FM19 but it's like learning how to play the game from scratch.

I've got this and have liked what I've played of it so far. I passed on 18 as I've got it on a yearly basis since 2012 but never seem to get through more than three seasons (albeit 13 where I did about 6 or 7). I was going to stick with 17 for a few years but then the laptop packed in and had to get it replaced, so I lost everything (I'm not that computer savvy so unsure if the save files are kept through the steam network). Thought I'd dabble with 19 and will probably stick to it for a good number of years to get the most of it.

Anyone got their head around the training yet?

I looked at it, realised I'd need a bit of time to understand and set it up properly but started doing other, easier bits first!

Left it to the assistant manager.

In the absence of a Lincoln game, I had an afternoon of it on Saturday and only 12 games in, but it's much better than the previous two versions.

Still need to have a proper look at training and tweak the tactics once the players are familiar with the formation to see what needs doing, but the 4-1-3-2 that I always try and use has worked fairly well so far.
