Bamford is a very good player but not sure he has been the best in our league.

No problem with the goal of the year Tom, it was a belter but all the divisional player of the year awards were won by forwards. I'm not saying Garner didn't deserve it but think the awards were a tad 'short sighted'.
Maybe they should change it to divisional striker of the year?

Still a forward Tom with a half decent goal scoring record. Divisional forward of the year then.
As I said, Garner is a great player but, after watching the whole ceremony, I thought it was heavily striker biased. No great shock I suppose.
When are the divisional teams of the year out? That is voted for by peers I believe and should give a better view?

Well, the player of the year is voted for by the managers of every team in the division.

It's always heavily biased towards strikers, as is everything in Football. Strikers always get all the credit, as a defender, I don't like it haha

Nope, it's a bit weird. The goal of the year is for 2014 but it's a player of the season. I think it's voted in March.
