Kept clapping on his own whenever he introduced someone, then when he realised no one else was clapping he'd stop, then clap again a few seconds later. Very awkward

It felt like he kept trying to be funny and a bit cool, and it wasn't working. "Ooh, sorry George, here comes the awkward photo - nearly over!"
