I haven't seen the highlights yet and can only comment on seeing it live, virtually level on the pitch from where I sit in the stand, at the time I thought it was a horrific challenge and don't remember Wishart being bent over to try and head the ball...which the offending player might have used in his mitigation, clearly I may be wrong about this. I don't believe many players in the modern game would do anything so stupid or dangerous to an opponent, Wishart may consider himself lucky that the studs connected with his skull and not an eye, otherwise the consequences for his career might have been vastly different.How are people arguing that that wasn't a red?! His foot is studs up at chest height!
