In terms of size of opponent, locality etc it’s our biggest since we last played them as you say 30 years ago. I’d argue the Brentford home game in 99 was bigger in terms of the what was at stake mind. But not many other candidates.Probably our biggest home league game for 30 years? Sold out (albeit a depressingly low number, we've lost about 2500 in 20 years with no redevelopment), big away support from a local team we probably won't play much more in the next 30 years, should be good though I fear they may blow us away if we can't get our shit together in the first 20 minutes as has been the case in much of the last month.
Note to Ipswich fans, if you could not takeover my pre-natch watering hole that'd be great, there's tonnes of good pubs in Cambridge you don't need to drink in my shithole.
I’m confronting my anxiety and finally going on Saturday and on Tuesday. I’ll probably be the only one in the ground with a mask on but there you go. I am really looking forward to the game and being back though.
