A strange game against Cambridge. Felt they started the brighter but we found our groove. Between 10-40 mins it was all us, we deservedly went ahead and could should have been 2 or 3 nil ahead. We looked dangerous and Cambridge defence looked dodgy.

They then score from a long range strike that defected in and they could have gone 2-1 up with a counter in injury time.

2nd half was a complete write off. We couldn't get going. Cambridge had more of the ball but did they little with it.

Gardner came on and was sent off 4 mind later, need to see it again as first thought was it was a yellow. We saw out the final 10 mins with 10 men with ease and had chances. All I know is I got colder and colder as the game went on.

A few more points and we'll be safe for the season, we aren't doing anything else

As for our keeper rolling around on the floor against Wrexham. That was when your forward assaulted him and should have had a red card. Also, if you remember we were chasing the game up until the 88th minute so why would our keeper be holding on to the ball?

We have played a 5 at the back for the last three seasons and today he went with 4 at the back with two inverted wingers.....Desmond was unplayable that second half Schon struggled. It is not Schumacher team he is trying things some will work some wont.
Evatt played the same way for three seasons.....Down to making the same subs at the same time week in week out....Charles was being substituted on 60 mins every week.......He got a hat trick v Reading yep off 60mins.
We are short upfront Collins got a knock in training and Etete injured during the warm up. Yet to see Santos in a backline that defends only....Tippy tappy possesion football has gone.
Schumacher has a free run this season......Still fancy us to get that 6th spot then its a lottery.
Only next season will he be judged

Santos would again be getting injections to play and again is the best defender in the league but a liability playing how Evatt wanted him to play.
Again giving the opposition two chances to score. Then we would have Sheehan playing in front of the defence, getting clattered every time he receives the ball.
Thomason was suspended, Morley would have been sold, Dempsey still injured......Desmond would be expected to defend as a wingback but can be unplayable in this league as a winger. Good win for us yesterday. Good first half, second half we sat off and Barnsley probably should have pulled one back sooner, thankfully when they did it was too late for them to push on really.

5 wins in a row, I can't sit here and say we're going to win the next 5. We're grinding them out really which is admirable, I think most people thought we'd be finished without Barry.

We have played the same system since promotion in lock-down.
We have no natural full backs, No hard bastard ratter in midfield and nobody physical upfront. Evatt has splashed 3m on three players who are struggling to establish themselves
