Going to mk for the first time and really hoping we put in a better performance than the last time we was there(lost 5-0)

I’d take a draw now if offered but obviously hoping we can nick it.

anyone know about parking? I’m assuming odeon is fine but Asda is a no, any help is appreciated.

Looks like Gillingham have had some tough games in their last 6 and led for a long time at Bolton.

We played well against Sunderland and although it wasn’t great, the Plymouth cup game was an improvement on most of our recent performances. Another win and clean sheet in this would be massive for confidence.

Check the local industrial estates and if you're early enough you won't need to pay. Otherwise the car parking inside the stadium area is matchday parking only so you'll need to buy a pass from the club.

Can't you park up behind Nandos/Odeon?

Plenty of parking around in the industrial estates nearby. Granby and Mount Farm. I'm not sure about the parking by the Odeon as I've never parked there on match days as I'm within walking distance of the ground. Obviously there is parking at the stadium but you have to pay.

This may be of some help. https://www.stadiummk.com/visit/getting-here-parking/ but if you give yourself time to nosey around there is plenty of free parking within walking distance.

And yes, Asda and Ikea have parking cameras.

Depends a lot on your attitude. Bolton’s defence is not great, get in their faces and attack and you will have chances. Still back and let them play and they will score.

Half of that car park on the right as you look at the restaurants/cinema is official matchday parking. The other half closest to the building I would assume is off limits for football fans but I don't know anyone that's tried. If you get there early enough, 12/1pm, then Dawson Road is a good bet.

11/10 Wycombe is a fantastic price imho. My treble would be Wycombe, Plymouth and Charlton.

unless dapo is on form we are toothless up front....Defence will tippy tap the ball out of defence. Will have 70% possession with 1/2 shots on target in 90 mins..........we need a plan B

quite the opposite........Come at us and we will have more chances, shots goals etc........Sit back and we will have all the ball and you can hit it long down the wings and you will have chance after chance

Pretty much what we done to you at the abbey. Let Santos play it side to side with his partner and when he finally gives it away hit on the break.

yep everyone has worked Evatt out he needs a plan B. To be fair he has been unlucky with injuries and the replacements are simply not good enough to play that system.

19/4 to beat Mk Dons sounds about right to me. Obviously this year's playing squad is much better than the one that got walloped 6-0 a couple seasons back but they'll still beat us. It's not very often that they drop points at home and I'm not that convinced just yet with the Masterson and Okedina CB pairing. Hopefully Jones will be fit and starts in place of Masterson.

There's also the should Wessi start or not conundrum. Personally I think he should always be in the starting line up when he's available but we also look tighter as a unit when he's not in the side.

I park at the Dominos factory because it is easily visible and you get a jump on the traffic leaving.

We went at them a lot too, should have been out of sight by half time but only led 2-0. We’re shit though so ended up a draw.

We have been great at times and awful at other times why simple we have players who are inconsistent.
Hence why these players are plying there trade in lge 1/2 and not above.
Dapo, Lee and Mj Williams and possibly Jones before his injury are all 8/9 out of ten each week. The rest can fluctuate between 3 and 8. I think most teams in this league are in the same position.

Thank you for the replies everyone, think I’ll try around mount farm somewhere.

As for the game, I’m looking forward to it, Jones and Tracey are still doubts which will be a big loss if true, could be bonner playing games so will wait and see.

Don’t know how mk play but I’m assuming it’s more of a possession based game which will suit us, think the size of the pitch could help mk though, looks a big pitch compared to our small/compact one and with our not precisely quick defence I can see mk getting in behind.

fingers crossed we can pinch it.

Are you a Marxist? This reads like the historical inevitability of dialectical materialism. The proletariat (Bolton FC) will inevitably gain power (reach the Premier league) through revolution (we have more fans).

Argo will be in all likelihood be in league 1 or the Championship in 3/4 years, so you are confidently predicting Bolton will be in the Premier League based on one factor alone. Having a big crowd has not helped Sunderland. Having small crowds did not stop Bournemouth reaching those dizzy heights.

Yes, it helps bring in more income and does make it likely that you will be in the Championship than say Morecambe or Accrington. But alone it is not enough to offer the historical inevitability your statement implies. You seem to blithely ignore coaching, recruitment, how the team gells, luck, what the opposition do and a myriad of other factors.

Accrington away. This Is going to be tough. I feel like I did before Morecambe, that a point would be good. We are without Jephcott (or Jeffson as Holloway called him last week!) and Galloway who are both on international duty. He will play Gillesphey for Galloway and I suspect Garrick for Jeffers.

No i am a realist. Historically speaking Bolton have been in the top league for over 80 seasons they and Sunderland and Shef Wed will return to the Championship in the next two seasons. Then it is a lottery.
We have one of the brightest coaches in the game as do Plymouth so i see no reason why you cannot piggy back along.
