Meh, I actually thought a draw was right and don't really have an issue with how Oxford played. We weren't at our best yesterday but we'll finish above them I'm sure and that's the main thing.

We weren't at our best either, otherwise we'd have won. And just to put this to bed once and for all, we "game managed" for about the last ten minutes, not the whole game!

Assuming we played as we did, and you played at your best, I wouldn't necessarily disagree. Bit of a silly thing to say considering it would be the same vice versa. Only thing you can say with confidence is that in the second half only Ipswich tried to win the game, period. Key word being tried, Oxford will be very happy with the point.

If you think for a second that both at their best would result in an Oxford win though, behave yourself!

On the basis that you haven't seen us at our best, behave yourself!

Of course we tried to win the game in the second half, but you got on top (well done) and we had less chances to do so. You really think a team like us, after being on top in the first half, would just come out for the second half and say "No, fuck it, lets just sit back and defend" We made three substitutions, a midfielder, a winger, and a striker, were replaced with a midfield, a winger, and a striker, now I would have thought a team with no intent to win the game would have just replaced them with three more defensive players, wouldn't you?

Accept the fact, because it is one, that you tried your best on the day to beat us and couldn't, just as we tried our best on the day to beat you and couldn't. Two even sides, not some great Oxford robbery of the superior Ipswich, as some would try to re-write it!

Pretty much nailed it.

Yeah, I read. Doesn't mean I have to agree just because you repeat it.

I let it go first time, but as you've kindly repeated it, I also disagree with your rather arrogant statement that you're sure you'll finish above us. That's impossible to say at this stage, you may, you may not, I personally don't think there will be much between the clubs come the end of the season. But we've made the play-offs the last two seasons, while you haven't, and we're stronger this year. I would say you are stronger also. Which means that neither of us can be sure. You might hope you do, you might think you will, but to say you're sure comes across as sounding arrogant and dismissive, which is exactly where this conversation started.

OK then, I'll rephrase. If we finish 9th or higher, we'll finish above you.

I agree there are some embarrassing views on there but I take from that that most say they were impressed with Oxford’s first half but frustrated with the ref in the second and Oxfords gameplay at the end. Problem is, the video spent more time on those with the poor views!
