Pretty bad weather forecast. What’s your pitch like normally Bradford fans?

Been really excited for this one.
Pitch is much improved now. Gone are the days where the pitch would be pure mud with the slightest bit of rain. Forecast is bad but it's been ok today. Not rained an awful lot and isn’t raining now.

Should be fine.

Hoping for a monsoon in Stockport tonight followed by a serious of lighting strikes at the ground, please don’t make me have to go to this

The weather forecast isn’t looking great, Prenton Park’s never been the best with excess water, possible chance of a postponement? Nice to see we have a Merseyside official as well, will be getting the excuses in early got this one!
The pitch was relaid during the covid era and don't think there have been any waterlogging postponements since. I did read some suggestion of flooding in the Kop though.

Don't think the referee Mr Speedie has done a Rovers game before, no idea what he'll be like. Don't know if he's from the area originally but has a job as Referee Development Officer with Liverpool FA.

With our first choice keeper and a central defender suspended and arguably our best striker still out injured, you should pick up something, if not everything, from your trip to the Wirral.

We’ve 16 players out now and no chance of any back before the end of November so not sure we’ll pick any points up before then

Shad Ogie suspended for Saturday.
Big loss for us as he has been absolutely immense since he came in.
Don’t know what we paid Orient for him, but it was a bargain.

Got a feeling we’re gonna go 1-0 down early at Stockport but then come back to win 2-1.
I know given form we should get mullered but we always seem to have Stockport’s number recently.

Mansfield's first defeat will have to come sometime, Saturday not the likeliest on paper or grass but why not? Just need a drunk ref who sends one of theirs off in the third minute for having his socks rolled down or something.

Stockport County.
Grimsby definitely our bogey team. If we can break the recent curse against them, we would look like serious contenders.

Just realised Cargill is suspended tomorrow, he got his fifth yellow and his first goal against Notts County.

Field Mill Drainage system (which partly failed earlier in the season) is currently under a stern test of capacity.

Non-stop rain all day today, be amazed if there isn't a few games off tomorrow.

Apparently the ref has sent off a Stags player in his last two games he has reffed the Stags, including our last visit to the new lawn when we lost 1-0 in April 2022.

Well it’s battered it down in sale all day which is about 5 miles down the road.

Looking at the forecast round here i’d imagine the game would he on unless stockport’s drainage system is crap, looks ok tomorrow.

Raining all day but our drainage is good. It rains a lot in Stockport, it is a shitty old day weather wise even by normal standard but without all the media reports of storms in Scotland, East England etc I'm not sure I'd be batting much of an eyelid. Tomorrow looks better, not great by any stretch but nothing called off worthy. If the pitch is OK in the morning, I'm not seeing a P-P so hopefully Grimsby fans should be in the loop in terms of travelling over.

Down south actually looks worse tomorrow in terms of rainfall so that maybe where to look for for postponements as I often find waterlogged games are the ones that just get that blitzing from say late morning to kick off and the drainage doesn't have time.

Al Hamadi back from international duty for our trip to Barrow. We are a different team when he is playing. No surprise we lost at home to Bradford last week without him. Donkey Davison banished to the bench.

Never thought our game would be at risk of postponement. It stops raining at 3am tomorrow morning - giving it a good 12 hours to dry out.

No concerns at all.
