Tranmere are doomed aren't they.
At least it's only October I guess. Gillingham couldn't buy a win for the first half of last season but then signed well in January and went on a great run. We could obviously do with a permanent manager in ASAP and Palios doesn't have the best of track records when it comes to January signings, but all hope has not been completely snuffed out just yet. Although we play both Forest Green and Sutton in our next four games - lose to either of them and it doesn't bode well...

A couple more wins for Donny and that lunatic fan of theirs who was posting in pre season might be back.

Yeah another 3 goals. Believe thats 8 for the season, and most of those being in the past month. Great to watch.

It's just one of those things. He wouldnt have got a look in earlier this season, so defo the best move for his development after a successful loan at Drogheda, just a shame with how things have worked out with our injuries. Defo best to keep him there for the season, we should have Vale (from Blackburn) fit soon (potentially involved tomorrow), Mandriou back from his red card in a couple of weeks, Walker in the next month and House in January.

Having said that, we may never see him again in a Lincoln shirt if a Prem/Champ side take a punt.
If he carries on like this i doubt you will the kid has got something only just turned 19 and leading the line and doing what he does is impressive at his age.

I’ve not gone back as trains are cancelled and it sounds like it’s leathered it down all night, given there’s been absolute chaos around the east midlands area due to flooding i can’t see it being on.

The pitch seems to be fine though, so…

Lots of trains cancelled this morning so away followings could be reduced?
Grimsby don’t get many away games with a direct train link but Stockport is one, or at least it was!

Chesterfield on, Halifax on. It’s the hope that kills ya. All the flooding near the ground disappeared and our game still ends up off at 9am. Wank

they’re both non-league footballing outposts though, standards are going to be higher for league sides.

Looking forward to this. Big crowd, away end full, great atmosphere. Delighted for Wrexham fans they are at last back though envy their wealth.

Our game with Crawley facing a 10:45 pitch inspection.
Can't see it being on then. Usually when these get announced it's followed with Postponed. Feel for the fans already well on there way down south for this.

The inspection this morning was just procedure it was called off last night basically.

On the OS the ‘surrounding area’ is the culprit but it’s mostly fine this morning so a weird one.

Seems a bit of a strange one - our pitch is very good with lots of money having been spent by Brighton and ourselves to keep it to a good enough standard for us and the WSL.
We’ve had lots of rain but not the same level as you guys up norf

Stockport County.
Our game definitley on. Pitch fine and forecast fine all day here.

Safe travels to Grimsby and their supporters, looks like it will be a ball ache with train cancellations and I presume lots of road closures around the Yorkshire area coming over.

that’s what’s annoying though, appreciate its selfish but if the decision to say it was off was yesterday fucking say it, people might have already set off (i could’ve done easily)

Apparently trains for our lot left at half seven. Shame but it was an early inspection and decision.

Obviously, the real reason is Stags running scared of our one match unbeaten run.

It was going to come to an end anyway tuesday when we lose to our non-league friends at harrogate like we always do

All things considered a decent ish game in the conditions last night. Felt like a defeat conceding so late but we just cannot defend. Must have the worst defence in the league. We scored 3 good goals so something to cling to. Need Jameson and Charsley back urgently. A tough run of games coming up so can see us dropping further. Will need a strong transfer window in January and Jenkins will have to splash some cash.

Game at Crawley definitely on.

It has been raining here but nothing like up in the badlands :fish:

We've had sunshine around here for a while but it's clouding over again.

Probably wanted to check around the ground for hazards. I seem to recall we had a game called off at Bradford as the road leading to the ground was dodgy but the ground itself was fine.

Same as us 2 teams who were shocking at the back last night point a fair result in the end.

Held on and that’s a confidence booster but a worry with Close going off
Can’t argue with the result. Defensively both sides looked flaky, but Donny were much more dangerous in attack with Faal a handful and Molyneux giving us a torrid time from out wide.

Adkins fixation on 433 is a problem, particularly when he won’t play an obvious defensive midfielder to protect the back four, when there are options. Looks like he’s finally twigged we need one but is going for Lewis ffs.
January recruitment has been a mixed bag. We did well in the demotion season with Clarke and Vaughan on loan but not recently.
Don’t fancy the trip to Sutton and no idea how we’ll fare against old nemesis FGR
