How do we look? I watched most of the Coughlan games but haven't seen any Clough ones yet, as don't have a suitable device.
I tried to tell you that you shouldn't go for the Samsung Cloughlan+ but you insisted you were right...

I’d be shocked if Mansfield don’t finish in the top 7

I just don’t really know what the overall answer is for Vale... since Kings Lynn everything has completely unravelled, the solid defence just lets us down most weeks.

You won’t see much more calamity than the goals we conceded today.

Looks like Leggey has been de registered now (rumours there is a back story to this)

Things we did last season so we’ll just don’t seem evident; the high press worked a treat for us yet we don’t use it this season much.

Hopefully the return of Gibbons helps, especially with Monty and that should rememdy the full back situation.

Big worry this week is keeping Conlon though, he’s outstanding at the moment.

I thought Bolton were unlucky not to get something out of the game tbh and we didn't manage it well after they went down to ten men. However, I'll happily snaffle all the points.
I’d agree with that. Thought we looked very leggy towards the end but that’s no surprise given the number of games we have had lately on heavy pitches. Neil Hair was his usual useless self despite his new look Covid hair do with some somewhat questionable decisions both ways. Another win on Tuesday against Harrogate puts us right in the mix I would think.

Not the best of games very scrappy on a poor pitch stank of mid table mediocrity from both sides i thought happy with the 3 points and thats about it if Adebayo goes we are in trouble.

I would advise no aspiring young keeper watches it.

3 horrific keeper errors (arguably 4 if you consider Brown should step of his line and claim the 2nd with the ball in his 6 yard box).

Brown makes an error like that once in a blue moon, to make two!

Can’t legislate for that I guess. Some of our fans are being harsh on the overall effort but you can’t manage those errors.

It’s crazy how an 18 year old starting what is likely to be a fantastic career can rattle you so much after a win
I'm not rattled I just expected better from Premier League Pollock, I was told he was the best defender in the league

Aye well you better call those Premier League teams chasing him and let them know before they waste their money

Pollock will definitely go on to play at a higher level, he's having a tough time at the moment and his lack of pace has been flagged as an issue over the course of this season but there are plenty of CBs playing higher up who lack pace. He's still undoubtedly one of the best young defenders around in L1 and L2. He's fucking massive and well strong for his age and I have no doubts that he'll improve under Hurst.

Yesterday was frustrating, Scunny were the better side for sure however it was only the second goal we can blame the defence for. The other two shouldn't have stood so it's a different game if we get the rub of the green on those decisions.

The run of games against those around us is such shit timing, if we had these games in say March or even Feb it would have improved our chances a fair bit but as is it is it's hard to see us not going down right now.

Relegation will officially mean we're the most tinpot of the BELTs though.

Chin up old lad!
Are you sure about that. I mean, you've not actually fallen to sub-NL level yet?
I'm sure the likes of Stockport, York (and even possibly) Torquay would still like to swap places with you.

Yeah I think Pollock will be a top championship defender and his pace will stop that next step.

He’s the best we’ve had since Ryan Bennett but Bennett was miles better imo.

They're very different CBs aren't they, but yeah Bennett just had that calmness and composure at 17 that a lot of defenders in their prime don't have at this level. Pollock doesn't lack those two qualities but Bennett was just a cut above from the off.
