This is only our third 3pm Saturday home kick off this season - Its also our last until January 4th after our home game with Mansfield in 2 weeks was called off today.

Has to be a first - Only three 3pm home kick offs for a club in the first half of a season, needless to say alot of our fans are pissed off about this.
It's our third too.
And our game with Lincoln has been switched next week.
Safe to say many season ticket holders are already considering what to do next season.

I feel really fortunate as only 2 games got moved to a stupid KO time after the initial start of the season (3 games in a week) then the Brum game.

We (Mansfield) have only had two away matches kicking off at 3pm on Saturday including cup ties this season and only one more league game (Charlton 14th Dec) before the new year.

Three away matches (Wycombe, Exeter, Leyton Orient) are arranged now for mid week due to international breaks.

Phil 'Parky' Parkinson v Brian 'Cloughie' Clough, a battle from the jurassic era.

Whichever manager loses puts themselves under IMMENSE pressure.

It’ll be just how cloughie likes it, the underdog against parky and the circus.

Clearly we aren’t expected to be where we are, and nor will we finish anywhere close to it, but is parky actually under any pressure? clearly our remit this season was to stop up and go from there, which we hopefully should now do from here on in.

Stockport County.
Cloughie and Parky on the touchline for the big one this weekend.

At one point is one going to turn to the other and say "I wonder if Stockport are 3-0 down yet?"*

Can see Cloughie or "Nigel" as he now wants to be known needing a police escort after his comments on Wrexham's spending.

*- I'll go for 24th minute and the plot twist is we probably will be. Not confident at all for this Bolton visit. I've heard they're excellent away from home

We’re meant to be the midtable side offering nothing, we’re having to fill in for you!

Parky is always under pressure. He's always one defeat away from being called into an urgent Zoom meeting from Los Angeles.

I’m not making the game so it does not affect me but Wrexham inability for fans to collect tickets at the ground is so tinpot.

Curzon Ashton can do it……

It’s so unlucky how every international postponement is a long distance away trip, I probably cannot make any of those three now.

The club shop area is carnage on a matchday so guess that's why we don't.

I've never picked one up from the opposition's ground on the day, mad risk to take tbh in case there's a fuck up.

The obverse is that all of our games in international breaks were are home, resulting in lost income on Saturday afternoons.
Of course any intelligent organisation would ensure that clubs had a mix of home and away games during the breaks, but this is the EFL we are talking about here.

There are a few clubs that don't offer one. We just don't have space for a collection point at the moment. I'd suggest that this could change as and when away fans are put behind the goal.

You definitely have space, a tiny one man booth is all that’s needed.

Brummies, any decent pub recommendations on the way to the ground?

OK. I will ask the club to set a little cabin so Conker can go to Wrexham and get his little Mansfield ticket.

Grow up.

It’s pretty tinpot though, not having something for away fans to pick something up.

They’ve always kiosks at a circus, get one more in and stop being tight.

Not saying it isn't. But I did say this before hand if you care to read.

I’m not going like I said - I just think it’s tinpot, if we did not provide that basic facility I’d call it out for what it is, because grown ups can, believe it or not accept slight criticism of the club they follow without being a cry baby about it.

I get why you and other Wrexham fans are like this, due to the ownership you get a lot of stick and as a result you are a bit sensitive when it comes to anything not positive.

I never pick up on the day either, it is very risky but a lot of fans do it because some do not live near the ground, and always risk it goes missing with Royal Mail.

I think the simple solution is something next to the away end if the club shop area is not up to the demands.

We used to have a specific away ticket booth but seem to have done away with it this season with all collections being from the home ticket office/ portakabin, literally 20 yards away.
Given that we aren't exactly flush with space, I'm not buying that.
