You still think you've got a chance????
Honest answer yes because the league is close and everyone is beating each other, but no not with Evatt and his 2 in midfield Bollox he is setting the team up this season. If he goes and we get someone then yes without a doubt.
Any average manager would get that squad in the play-offs
We keep Evatt and the will be more days like yesterday

They're only one point off the playoffs so why not.

Exactly and have been called the form team in recent weeks.

Obviously yesterday was a disaster but unless Bolton expected to be clear at the top they are doing decent enough for the play offs at least ?

Just seen our penalty shout back, didn’t think it was one at the time but the defenders arm fully outstretched and shoves Gregory in the back as he’s about to shoot. Think Wrexham got away with one there, nothing to be surprised at when they got a pen in the same box that was given for a foul on the touchline last year.

A point probably would’ve been fair but we were wasteful all game and they got the goal. Always impressed with them defensively. Palmer is absolutely honking aswell, what a miss

See, when you say shit like that you lose all credibility. Bitter.

They’ve still got time to turn it round (as have Burton) - no-one’s yet insurmountably cut adrift - but they have to get the new manager appointment right, as well as some reinforcements in January.

Always a tough one to get new players in if you’re in a relegation dogfight though.

Always whinging about ref decisions, injuries, budgets etc. You knew it would be the same this time if they lost, even though they all apparently weren't going to be watching the game at all.

3 clean sheets in 4 against them inside a year says where their problems lie. Parky has had Clough sussed every time we've played them.

You haven't seen us yet TBF! You may change your opinion come December. I was hoping at the start of the season there would be 4 worse teams. That hope is fading fast.

The new manager needs to keep us in touching distance until January and then we need to find cash that we don't have and sell the dream to new players.

Our CEO said a few months back the best scenario would be a takeover before the window, but that's not likely to happen.

Brilliant win yesterday, thought we were the better team overall. That said, Charlton missed some big chances. How Godden missed a chance from about 10 yards with just Whitworth to beat, I’ll never know.

Charlton are a weird one. They’ve got some excellent players but just looked a bit ordinary. They defended their box really well. Lost count of the number of crosses we had that were cleared by their back line.

Our goal was a superb header from Crama who had another top performance. He’s quality. Interesting that Caldwell said our analysts realised we needed to change how Jack McMillan made his run for our attacking set pieces to get the likes of Crama more space to attack crosses. We made that change at half time and hey presto, we score from a corner. Great insight into how we are so adaptable tactically.

Decent crowd and a good atmosphere. Plenty of home games coming up against tough opposition so it’ll be a big test for us.

Why does the defender put his arm there if he is not unfairly trying to put him off his shot.

That’s a blatant penalty hahahaha.

I don’t know the stats of the biggest game outside the PL this weekend, Wrexham v Mansfield, but that should have been a penalty. And would say the same if it were the other way round
If that's a penalty then there should be a dozen penaltys every game. Almost no contact, Gregory has no control of the ball and just threw himself to the ground as soon as he felt Scarrs hand on him. Slowed down like that it looks a bit more suspect but in real time it didn't look like a penalty at all.

Anyway, it wasn't given so it's all moot. Just another new piece of lore for Mansfield fans to talk about forever.

What are you on about? What has that got to do with anything?

If all you can point to is a soft penalty then maybe you didn't do enough to win the game.

What’s the lottery numbers? Seeing as you’re so sure, I assume you’ve been to the future?
If I knew the lottery numbers for tomorrow, I wouldn't be sharing them with your good self.
