Barrow away. Expecting a tougher game than at Southend. We didn’t play well there at all despite the 2-0 scoreline. We played much better against scunthorpe and we’ll have to be at that level or better to stand a chance of winning. I’m hoping we won’t have a drop in energy levels after starting the same 11 for 3 successive games.

I think we’ll just fall short in this one.

Don't know about you but I'd be tempted to rest two or three players for this one to keep them fresh for Newport* course you could argue that we should be looking to play our best XI any time they're available, that it might backfire, that momentum matters more than fitness... it's a difficult call, it's why management is such a stressful job, glad I don't have to make it. Kayode and Devine coming back will be massive for us.

*No disrespect to Barrow, just because this is a normal game, Newport is a six-pointer so given the choice I'd rather we win that one, course we need to be winning both if we want promotion but thems the breaks.

Thanks for letting us know. I am certainly going to sleep better with that insightful piece of information
Just recently Harry you’ve started to turn into a bit of a knob, just thought I’d let you know that hopefully you’ll sleep even better now.

Losing, again. Approaching half-time in what would become an 11th successive away game without a goal, so a tall order to get back into this one now.

Stags certainly slowing down the chasing pack over these last few weeks.

Pretty happy with Newport being held. Another goalless draw for Walsall who host FGR tomorrow would be lovely and hopefully Exeter go and get Mullined at Cambridge and we get all three points at Barrow... that happens and I'd start to believe.

We’ve a very good record against the top 7 - we’ve beaten the top 2, drawn twice with tranmere also.

3-0 and it's been coming. We deserve Southend and Grimsby to pick up some form to be honest.

The big gulf in goal difference is gradually eroding away. Need to keep this to three.

I said Crawley were the worst team I’d seen all season on Saturday.

I don’t think that title will last long as Colchester are absolutely horrific.

Also, imagine being the leagues top scorers and sitting in 15th.

If only we’d had a better defence or Curle from the start.

Colchester getting smashed by Oldham and Newport look like they were lucky (stats wise) to get a point shows how bad the Easter weekend results were for us. Absolutely must win tomorrow. Salford and Morecambe away still to come with Carlisle (who battered us at Brunton) and Exeter at home too. Not the easiest run in.

It should be about 6-1 at the moment.

The Oldham free kick routine is hilarious.

tonight summed us up though, we were the better side against a limited newport side who seemingly came for the point which they got - it was also refreshing to see newport play without the almost outright thuggery which normally comes with their play.

However, yet another individual mistake put us behind in a match that would have been ridiculous had we lost and thankfully sinclairs find strike late on got us back level.

having watched various top 7 sides in the last month and seeing how poor they are it’s damning view on us in 19th.

Well assuming Joe Riley will miss Saturday with the injury, beech will be forced into at least 1 change. Not sure about putting Furman in for Riley as they are too different. If Devine is back I’d play him. If Kayode is back I’d play him to add a bit of freshness, I’d have to think about who to drop.

I didn’t realise Newport were playing this evening, dropped points for a rival is always welcome.

Jesus Colchester....
