Surely he can't have been worse than Guy Branston? He was an absolute thug. I've got to be honest, I don't remember Brabin's playing days but if any team needed a leader like that at the minute it's us. I'm pretty wary about it and if it was to be Brabin, I'd give him time before making judgements about our chances. I have to say though, I get less confident every day - it's slowly starting to hit me now just how difficult next season could be.

How Guy Branston had a professional football career is an absolute mystery to me. When he was masquerading as an athlete at the mem, a young lad about 8 or so questioned his father about Branston being a fan who was allowed to play for winning a competition.

He was crap for us, tactically inept and brought in a whole host of very poor players, his policy appeared to be sign as many players as possible and some of them are bound to be ok.

It was an absolute huge error to give him the job after what was a pretty poor stint after Money left. Got the playoff final hopelessly wrong.

Not sure there where many other options though really.

Terrible medical condition that. PaulBuckleitis. Other symptoms may include having your skull up your arse.

From Brabin's track record, he'll either do well and jump ship for something better, or not live up to expectations and get sacked. If Paul Carden leaves us to join him as his assistant I think I'll explode!
