Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
I am not doubting his intelligence for one minute, just think Labour need a stronger leader with the likes of Ed Miliband in background.
I agree he puts a lot of people off and if Labour do lose he'll definitely stand down, not immediately maybe. I don't know who they'd get to replace him. Ed Balls looks like a fucking psychopath. :bg:

:bg1: Spear has gone from 'That pretty much seals the win then' to 'may get a majority at this rate'. Glad you've had a reality check chief.

Chuka Umunna seems to be favorite at the moment ! Ed Balls would be a bad choice again.

What do UKIP have to say other than wanting to leave the EU and capping immigration more than than the other parties? Or does that in itself get your vote? I'm just wondering because a lot of people like the EU and immigration stuff, but when you ask them about UKIP's other policies they haven't got a clue what they are?
Pro grammar schools and anti hs2 are probably their 2 other best known policies. But its true that they're having to come up with a lot of policies on the hoof in the run up to the election.

Dan Jarvis? He's not the most experienced politician but he seems to be being groomed for leadership.

Polls suggesting Nick Clegg will lose his Sheffield Hallam seat. Lovely.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Have UKIP released anything like a manifesto?

I heard on the radio on Monday that they unveiled a poster in Dover or something.. Do we all need to whizz down to have a look?

We had a leaflet in post other week but it was just their usual stuff with nothing to back it up or how they would achieve their aim.

Borgen-style debate tonight. Sadly there will be no Birgitte Nyborg in attendance.

Predictions? Apparently there will be some scope for direct interactions between leaders. I think Miliband will try to go after Cameron, but he'll have to guard against making himself look desperate. I also expect to see some ganging up against Farage.

They don't need one, just scare people with immigration, plenty of fools will lap it up and vote for them, in fact a manifesto might actually hurt them, stick to scaremongering nonsense because it seems to have worked well.

How many times do we think Cameron will say "long-term economic plan?"

Yes. Cameron's so confident of wiping the floor with him that he, erm, ran away screaming like a schoolgirl at the idea of a one on one.

What's the 'R' in that typeface all about? Horrid.

If this is the best labour can come up with against us, I claim a win :D

I've already critiqued Labour's range of official policy pledge bedecked drinkware, you complete madman. There's nothing partisan about my minutiae-bothering, and I'd thank you kindly not to suggest otherwise.

I hope they don't gang up on Farage, it will play straight into his hands and he can handle it I reckon. I think he will perform well tonight although I hope I am wrong.

Yikes, didn't realise it was starting now. Perversely looking forward to the thing even though I'm fully expecting it to be awful.
