The polls weren't that inaccurate though. At least not with vote share. Their error was applying this vote share to seats which is always difficult and they got it very wrong. Phone polls have proved more accurate than internet polls again and they had been given the Conservatives a consistent lead for a few weeks leading up to the election.

And so the buttfuck of Scotland begins, with one of the guys who introduced the poll tax is made a minister for Scotland....

To be honest it'll only be the start, me thinks the SNP is going to be left with either A: another referendum or B: losing a lot of their power by the end of this government.

The tories got what they needed from Scotland last week................namely a majority and making sure the Scottish keep up their rhetoric and spiel is a great way of them keeping a majority so I doubt they will be bothered giving Scotland next to anything and no matter what they SNP claim having 50 odd MP's is nowt in a parliament of 600 odd.

Mind I could have told people of Scotland that well before the Election, why they believed all that 'dictate Westminster' claptrap.

best hope for Scotland having abit more leeway is if this devolution of the north happens which could allow Scotland and North England to sort've do their own deals and things away from London influence
