Whoops: wrong year on title.
Don't know how to correct so guess we'll have to live with it. Sorry.
BTW: - SkyBets odds not yet available. I'll add them ASAP.

Mansfield away. I’m not overly optimistic. Our record in away games against the other teams in the promotion/playoff hunt is bad (won 2 drawn 1 lost 6 off the top of my head against the other teams in the top 11), our form since beating Exeter on New Years Day hasn’t been great and we looked very shaky in the second half against Orient yesterday.

I’m not a doom and gloom type, I just feel our race is close being run. I’ll snap your hand off for a draw

Obviously the one on Easter Monday is going to be the biggest of the season for us but Hartlepool away is a very hard fixture itself. Congrats to all the Pool fans for consolidating up here as well by the way, I always thought they’d be ok but not least given the short turnaround they had after the playoff final and the pre-season it’s still a good achievement.

For us I’m just glad we have close to a week off before this game as at the end of yesterday there were two teams who had gone at it so much neither had much left to give. At the point you just have to keep going for the win and the way we are playing at the moment that is how I expect us to approach it.

Should have a decent crowd for this I would hope alongside 700 Port Vale, the sun might even threaten an appearance.

Can't predict what performance we will trot out, week to week we can go from sublime to dog shite, suppose it's just the way when you've nothing to play for.

Is Darrell still absent? Would've been nice to see him back up at Pools, would've got a good reception here, was a proper character for us.

He’s back at the club on a phased return however it’s more working with our DOF on plans for next season etc so won’t be in the dugout for the game. Says it all of him how almost all of his former clubs he has played for and managed think so highly of him (Walsall less so).

Walsall are just sad and bitter because he left for us. He could've gone to 90% of other EFL clubs and they wouldn't have batted an eyelid. Because it's us, they've spat their dummies out and the obsession with him and us since is embarrassing.

Next game in the run of “cup finals” and the probably our likely only one against a side with nothing to play for (Walsall it’s their big rivalry because they hate us for poaching their manager who they apparently didn’t like anyway)!

Never know how it will pan out, Hartlepool could be thinking of Magaluf and we turn up play our high intensity game and beat them comfortably or on the flip side second half yesterday we saw a few nerves kicking in so they could be chilled and us tense and get done.

Need to be on it and hopefully keep the crazy run going. A win here I believe would see us with the leagues best away points haul.

I’m not overly optimistic either, although considering our home form maybe I should be.

Will Sutton go for it, or set up for a point? I’ve got no idea how you guys play, I remember you beating us comfortably in the reverse fixture when we were useless but that’s about it.

I'd fancy Sutton at home to Mansfield, but don't think they will get anything at Field Mill. Hartlepool are on reasonable form as yesterday showed, I think they might sneak a point.
Hopefully Colchester get caught up in Bank Holiday traffic and have to change on thr bus.

In two minds on that Bristol Rovers game who I want to win. On the one hand Rovers loss with us getting a point or three pretty much reduces it to us and Mansfield for the third spot. On the other hand if Salford win and get in the playoffs you just know them twats will go on and win them.

How come? Do you mean you fancy Sutton to do us over but think they won’t get a decision? If that’s the case you need to visit the Mill more often to get a accurate picture

They’ve got one of the best home records in the league and are not quite so good away.

I’ve got it now, I’ll blame the poorly head from last night

I’m happy to see that mind, I think if we do win it be 12 in a row.

A home win before the end of the season would be nice, we need to stop being such a soft touch at VP.

We probably wouldn’t set up for a point but we’ll be more cautious and pragmatic in going forward, but our general approach isn’t too different from a home game.

As mentioned by others our home record is better than our away record, and that in part can be explained by not really changing our general style of play.

Trigger was an integral part of some successful seasons for us.
If you bumped into him in town, he was more than willing to have a chat & was a good laugh.
I'm pleased he's being a success in management.

If you play a high intensity game, we will struggle, we just have no pace in the team.

We don’t really have bags of pace but play a high tempo in spells (usually first 15) but then we do go into times in games where we have a lull.

It should be a decent game as you’ve done well this season and won’t be easy for us. We’ve got to avoid thinking about the huge game Monday and focus on this first.

We’ve downed tools. Players are absolutely knackered and have nothing left, they are just waiting for the season to end now. I dunno if Walsall are also on the beach, but if they are it’s going to make for anything but a classic.

Not much to really say about our clash with Scunny, we'll either win 6-0 or lose 1-0.

Either way, I hope for Scunny's sake they're sold to a new owner asap because the longer it goes on like this for them, the longer it will be for them to attempt to recover.

Really need a win at Bradford to keep our playoff hopes alive. Can't see it though. We will probably play for a point and get one which would be no use.

1250 tickets sold so far, hopefully we can take around 1400.

Have plans for Easter Friday which is good as I can't be bothered watching us move further away from the play-off picture with a powder puff defeat at Harrogate. I think that if we somehow win, we'll join Port Vale in the list of teams that have beaten all the other 91 sides in a league game.

Looking forward to giving Scunny a farewell win, like we did with our friends from the mudflats last year.

A comfortable win for us, 3 or 4 - nil., and a draw for FGR see's us close the gap even further..

Barrow v FGR & Exeter v Colchester are two games with top teams verses teams down low in table.
So lets look at current form: Barrow with 4 pts from last six matches have lost last three while Colchester have 9 points from last six games and have won two of last three.
2nd Barrow v FGR EFL meeting in Cumbria - last one FGR came away with 2-2 draw.
This season Colchester won 3-1 at home but did lose 1-6 on last visit to the Jurassic Coast.

So basically nothing to choose from in either form or previous results.
Therefore probably two wins for the West Country teams.

I'd look at it completely differently. Your best two strikers are out, your form has been shaky and you've only secured a few 1-0 wins to stop the rot prior to a draw again on the weekend just gone. Barrow will be fighting for their lives. A scrappy 0-0

Colchester safe and on the beach already.

Confirmed win and just 2 points behind FGR at 3pm on Friday, and 3 points behind come 5pm.

Hopefully a comfortable home win at the early kickoff, then sit back and relax while the pressure is on everyone else.
