Surprised at how lacklustre Southend have been. They really gave themselves a chance earlier in the season when Molesey got manager of the month. They may have dropped away since then or they'd be safe by now, I still expected them to be a tough opponent.

Really important win that ends our poor run of away games without a win.

Wasn’t the complete performance, there were spells where we were poor. I thought Southend could have made more of the possession we were gifting them, but thankfully they did not.

Hope back to back wins and clean sheets gives the players some confidence going into two tougher games. We aren’t anywhere near our pre January levels, but hopefully we see some progress within the next couple of games.

Mansfield and Vale fans are embarrassing with their predictions of relegation for themselves, but Carlisle are on another level.

Just checked mate and I’ve not spotted Mansfield fans predicting relegation for themselves on here, you must be confused, happens to the best of us marra!

i am sure that you have not posted that to get praise, but well done. You did exactly the right thing, it is only by calling out such things will anything change. I hope I would do the right thing too.
No I didn't want praise for doing the right thing, I was responding to Si Robin who stood up to a homophobic post on his club forum...to illustrate that small individual acts challenging abuse will add up if more people do it, letting perpetrators know that their behaviour is not welcome. If we challenge bad behaviour by our own so called fans others will feel the benefit.

In the past footy had a bad image, much worse than now, I just dream of the day when I can take any friend or family member to a game and not have to worry about what they might hear or see.

It seemed that we were badly prepared to be honest.

We packed the six yard box with defenders, but left several Cheltenham players free on the edge of the eighteen yard box. Two of the goals resulted from us winning the initial header, but failing to deal with the second ball because we did not have anybody picking up on the edge of the box.

It was a regular occurrence throughout the game.
I remember when Stoke narrowed the pitch for Delap to chuck it into the box for one of their giants to go for, Hull left 3 up which meant Pulis left 5 back to mark them. This enabled the keeper to come for the ball bacause of all the space.
To stop the throw-in farce there should be a time limit to take the throw much like the 6 second rule for a keeper to take a goal kick.

Is that 6 second rule ever actually enforced?

For any gamblers out there, a Crawley, Exeter, Orient and FGR accumulator is paying 22/1 on Sky Bet, crackers

Same thing, and you are so shite that we couldn't even beat you, that's how little you need to worry.

add Barrow* (won 5 in 7) at Colchester (won 1 in forever) and it's 63/1.

*it's still your fault if the bet goes down on just Barrow though...
