Such a bizarre appointment. Graham Alexander was in the playoffs too when he went wasn't he early in the season. Evatt was the first Bolton manager ever to lose his opening 5 competitive games as a manager....and now has the best win percentage of any Bolton manager in our history (albeit over a small sample size). Sometimes you just have to keep the faith

Only thing that may stop us today is the ref, giving us absolutely nothing, blatant hand ball pen not given and a couple of clear fouls near Salford’s box not given either.
Just know that later he will give them a dodgy pen.

Really enjoyed that first half. For half an hour we have taught Exeter a lesson which prompted a change from them and since that point they’ve come into the game.

Good value for the lead though and could have had a couple more.

Complete control for 30 minutes forcing them to make a change and been tighter since. Maybe need to address their shape change but still looking dangerous. Rodney should do better with their dodgy back pass but think he thought he was offside not realising it was a back pass.

Team of cheats as you’d expect with a Cooper team, very Swindon esk when he was there. Two absolutely disgraceful appeals for a penalty when neither were near to been touched. Suppose if you can’t create a chance a penalty will do...
