we have got 4 points this season from Mansfield..............It could of been 4 points for Mansfield

Think that pitch is doing them no favours
It should have been six points

The game between us and Bradford earlier this season involved some pretty amusing shithousery between Paudie O'Connor and Ebou Adams.

Let's hope we get revenge on the cheating Adam's if he is still with you?

Are we expecting a new manager bounce from Colchester?.. I’m getting more and more nervous the longer this run goes on. How long can it last? Never expected us to be in this position going into January but would be gutted if we threw it away now.

Think these are worse, you know they're poor points to drop if we do. I was anxious over the barrow game, which was set to play out similar.

I'm more relaxed now as we seem to find a way. Going a goal down to Walsall I wasn't sure we'd score 2.

Could really do with a win though given the other fixtures.

Hadn’t noticed the silence thing but yeah that referee had a mare, was a great save mind... shame he wasn’t a keeper!

Tough one tomorrow, if we play how we have been the last three I’m confident we will get a result be it a good point or a win but we are due a shitter. Been 11 years since four wins in a row apparently!

Atmosphere sounds good in the camp though, Clarke was full of beans in his interview! Cracking out the jokes and banter with Baggers and Andrew’s!
Very hard to call tomorrow. We just don’t know how City will play currently, one day the style and effort is great, and the next we are dismal. I see Vale have 3 wins on the trot, just our luck to be playing them now

Fair Play Table shows FGR are midway but with Bradford below.
Therefore seems Bradford indulge in the dark arts more than FGR [Mark Cooper]

Seeing as two of Bradford's red cards came in the game at our place last autumn it seems suspiciously like they save their worst behaviour for games against us...hopefully that won't continue today as we are running out of players to put on the pitch, can't afford to lose any more.

Any of our players have permission to headbutt that Adams today I’d be embarrassed if that was one of our players, wasn’t the only time that a Forest Green player threw themselves to the ground. Unfortunately we have hot heads in our team who will react to that sort of nonsense so I can see us losing our heads again.

Dead rubber for us I think as our performances of late say we won’t make the playoffs now, so just hope it’s an entertaining game the last game was for all the wrong reasons from our point of view.

View attachment 14103No, I am afraid its weak refs that are easily conned by Mark Cooper teams cheating. Unfortunately I can see Paudie O'Connor getting sent off again today as he loses it after falling for the cheating again

I
. No issue with your fans mate, but I truly hope we smash your lot today. It's a shame your fans wont be here today to sample our lovely chicken balti or meat & potato pies.

The last FGR v Bradford match was an embarrassment to both teams.
I'm sure both sets of fans hope for a far better game this pm.
BTW Adams was the most fouled player in EFL2 so not surprising and patently obvious that he went over more than others.

Scunthorpe beating Crawley. Starts at 13:00hrs.

I will admit to being quietly impressed with the way Scunthorpe have dug themselves out of trouble over the last couple of months. Not going to say they are the best team in the league but they do deserve to pat themselves on the back. Obviously, then make sure they don't muck it up in the summer.

Gawd knows what Crawley side will turn up.

Thanks for first five words - much appreciated.
Obviously wish you same in 2nd part of sentence. ;)
Absolutely agree that it is a shame FGR fans cannot attend match. Terrific stadium and good food as you allude to.
But there again the food establishments in Yorkshire are 2nd to none. And I say that as a Southerner who has been regularly visiting Bradford for the past 6 decades.

Adams has been out injured for a while so doubt he’ll start, having a late fitness test.

I love it how opposition fans talk as if us getting to have their food is some sort of rare treat, I don’t live at our ground, I (used to) spend a couple of hours there a fortnight or so, so tend to eat whatever I want. There are plenty of good chicken balti pies available down here. If anything the vegan stuff at our ground is more of a rare treat for most people I know, something you don’t usually get to try and don’t eat most of the time.

Live interview with Yems on youtube ( Talk of the Town, streaming now) where he called the fans criticising him and his selections numpties. He then wished all the staff at the Crawley lobotomy clinic a happy and safe Easter.

All said in good fun, with plenty of laughter. He also said the players are getting coach lag after recent trips to Barrow, Carlisle and now Scunthorpe.

Tunnicliffe still injured. Nadesan injured.

You wouldn't be a fan if you wasn't nervous one thing this run shows is we have everything in the locker to beat anyside in this division, this is a bannana skin match. But we have to trust the players and the manager to perform again today. One things for certain is we have all the ducks in a row everyone pulling in the right direction, we need two points a game last week we would have taken a draw we won three points at FGR so a point today and we are still on track, anything other than three points would be disappointing but a draw would not stop our progress. Am i nervous hell yes.

We finally are able to play two CB's for the first time in ages. However, our captain and RB who has been filling it at CB is now injured.

No idea how this game will go.

We are starting Gnouhoua, Delf and Dapo. 3 players that will run at them. We are obviously expecting a bus to be parked. Happy with that line up.

We have been missing Adams but I would rather he wasn't rushed back too soon.

I have eaten at the ground loads of times, it may come as a shock to some that the food is actually really good, pies and pasties are excellent...Dale always said that he didn't care if people brought their own food to matches, even if that contained meat...but to be honest I would rather eat what our club serves up than something from a burger van that you know probably isn't good for you.

We've set up in a pretty defensive-minded 4-5-1 from what I can make out, I'd be delighted with a 0-0. Just hope we don't get done for four or five as the goal difference is the one thing we have going for us at the moment compared to the bottom two.

Bradford's a great awayday, a seriously underrated and wrongly maligned city. Properly atmospheric ground with big crowds, too. Would have been great to be up there today.

Still, if we're talking football ground food, I'd have to put some of our offerings (the Q Pie, when it's available, especially) as among the very best in the land. Up there with Orient's pie and mash.

We are a decent away day, but certainly not because of the food at the ground. I’d advise everyone to eat elsewhere, I’ve only tried it once and it was like eating cardboard and drinking watered down warm piss sorry Carlsberg...

Well that wasn't the most eventful first half.

Been impressed with Crawley though, feels like they have about 15 men on the pitch. Any time we get the ball we have four Crawley players around us

I really didn't think Jones was offside in that disallowed one. I thought he ran from behind the 2/3 players. Was very close. First half hour there was only one team in it because they sat off. When they decided to press and push up the field they looked a lot better.
