Soooo, who would you like up?

The 2 clubs meet on sunday and one side will be lucky enough to escape the miserable shithole of the conference, for er, the all star league 2.

I personally have no preference, don't mind either club tbh, and I am relieved that both Forest Green and Eastleigh were knocked out - tinpot clubs of that size really would be taking it to be a new level.

Would prefer Bristol as have mates down there and we make a weekend of it, Grimsby as it is more northern and not far away.

Similar views from me. If it's Bristol then it would make a good destination for a weekend. If Grimsby, that would be another northern club in what is looking like a very southern league. Either way I'll likely try to make our away game, so I don't particularly mind.

EDIT: How that managed to post three times is beyond me, it's not even as though it was particularly interesting the first time around.

Having seen both play, I think that Grimsby deserve to go up - especially given they've had to endure the conference for such a long time. They were the much better side I've seen this season.

Rovers - they bring decent away support and lets face it you'd prefer a weekend on the zyder in Bristol than a weekend stinking of fish in Grimsby.

This. As much as a match against the Gas guarantees a decent crowd and I live closer to Bristol than the Port, they simply are nowhere near serving their time in the Conference. I think that Grimsby have served their time, it's time to take them back. Bristol Rovers will have to wait at least another three years at least and go all bitter and insane like the Luton fans did. :bg:

Location doesn't matter at all so my preference is 1. GRIMSBY 2. The MARINERS

Rovers for me, I've been to Grimsby in the last few seasons more than enough for one lifetime thank you very much.

I expect Rovers to challenge at the top of L2 if they go up, while Grimsby will probably be looking for a mid-table finish. Your club is always expected to aim for the top 7 so I don't see how Rovers going up will help your cause. Which reminds how right I was when a lot of Cambridge fans were happy with Luton staying in the conference. I used to say the sooner they go up the better, or we would find them in our way when it's time for us to mount a serious promotion push. We all know how it turned out in the end.

Of course, but we had to endure the unnecessary tension and nail biting of the play-offs. Would've been much better if there were no Luton, who literally were on fire, bearing down on us and ultimately overtaking us.

Happy with either, although as my old Sociology teacher used to support Grimsby I'll have to go with them

Rovers; they've had a pretty miserable time of the past 20 years or so, would like to see them go up and surpass their neighbours in red over the coming years, who are the pretenders to the Bristol throne.

A pretty miserable time over the last 20 years!

They're gas, they've been miserable their entire life.
